Although Huawei is no longer among the most popular smartphone manufacturers in local markets, it still holds its ground in the wearable electronics segment. The eleventh generation of its smart band is now in preparation, and thanks to the well-known leaker Roland Quandt from WinFuture, we already know what to expect. Not only are complete specifications available, but also official marketing renders in three color variants.

Significantly larger display with excellent brightness

Compared to its predecessor, Huawei has significantly enlarged the screen on the Band 11 Pro. The new 1.62″ AMOLED panel will offer a resolution of 482 × 286 pixels with a density of 347 PPI. What truly stands out, however, is the maximum brightness of 2,000 nits – a value more commonly found in standard smartwatches. Readability in direct sunlight should therefore not be an issue.

The casing will be available in two material variants: aluminum alloy or titanium-aluminum alloy. The more expensive titanium version should cost approximately 20 euros (about 500 CZK) extra. Without the strap, the band weighs only 14 grams and features IP67 certification with water resistance up to 50 meters.

Onboard GPS and decent battery life

The Huawei Band 11 Pro will boast a built-in GPS module, which will be appreciated by runners and cyclists who don’t want to carry their phone. Inside, we’ll also find an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, optical heart rate monitor, and ambient light sensor. SpO2 measurement and stress tracking are also standard features.

The 300mAh battery should last up to 14 days in power-saving mode, or 10 days with typical use. This is a solid value, even though the competing Xiaomi Smart Band 10 promises similar endurance at a lower price.

Price and availability in Europe

According to Roland Quandt’s information, the Huawei Band 11 Pro is expected to arrive in Europe in March. The price is anticipated to range between 50 and 70 euros (approximately 1,200 to 1,700 Czech crowns) depending on the variant. The official unveiling is expected later this month.

For this price, you’ll get a well-equipped fitness tracker with GPS and an excellent display. The question remains whether the absence of Google services and ecosystem will be an obstacle for some users – but this has been a standard situation for Huawei products for several years now.
