Huawei Watch GT 6 are here! They combine luxurious design with smart features and amazing battery life

Chinese technology giant Huawei officially brings the long-awaited Watch GT 6 series of smartwatches to the Czech market. The new products primarily impress with their extraordinary battery life of up to 21 days, an AMOLED display with 3000 nits brightness, and advanced sports features including virtual cycling power measurement. The premium GT 6 Pro version also adds sapphire glass, titanium construction, and the option of ECG analysis.

Premium Materials and Bright Display for All Conditions

Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro boasts sapphire glass and an aerospace-grade titanium alloy case, which ensures low weight while maintaining high durability. The model meets IP69 certification and 5 ATM water resistance, allowing it to withstand submersion up to 50 meters. The basic GT 6 version uses stainless steel, which is heavier but still offers a premium feel.

Both models feature a 1.47-inch AMOLED display (for the 46mm version) with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels. Compared to the previous generation, the screen is 5.5% larger and, most importantly, 1.5 times brighter – the maximum brightness reaches up to 3000 nits, ensuring perfect readability even in direct sunlight.

Record Battery Life Thanks to Silicon Technology

Huawei has equipped the new watches with a high-silicon content battery, which increases energy density by 37%. As a result, the 46mm version lasts up to 21 days with light use or 12 days with typical use. The smaller 41mm model offers 14 and 7 days of battery life, respectively. In outdoor sports mode with active GPS, the watches can last up to 40 hours of continuous recording.

Advanced Sports Features with Virtual Power Measurement

A new feature is virtual cycling power measurement directly on the wrist without the need for an external power meter. The watches calculate power based on speed and terrain incline. When connected to an actual power meter, they can analyze FTP (Functional Threshold Power) and track training progress.

For navigation, the watches use the improved HUAWEI Sunflower Positioning system with 20% more accurate positioning thanks to six-band GNSS supporting GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC. Watch GT 6 Pro also includes maps of over 17,000 golf courses worldwide with the option to download offline maps.

Health Analysis with ECG and Emotional Wellbeing

The premium GT 6 Pro model allows ECG analysis – simply hold the electrode on the side of the watch for 30 seconds. Both versions then offer continuous heart rate measurement, SpO2 blood oxygen saturation, and heart rate variability (HRV). The HUAWEI TruSense system also analyzes pulse wave arrhythmia using a PPG sensor.

An interesting feature is emotional wellbeing monitoring, which categorizes emotions into 12 states visualized using different flower forms. The watches also include virtual pets that motivate users to perform breathing exercises during stress.

Prices and Availability in the Czech Republic

The recommended price for Huawei Watch GT 6 starts at 6,299 CZK for the 46mm version in black or grey. The green variant with a woven strap costs 6,799 CZK. The smaller 41mm model is available from 6,299 CZK, while the gold version with a Milanese loop will cost 7,499 CZK.

Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro are available only in the 46mm size, starting at a price of 9,499 CZK. The more luxurious Titanium variant then costs 12,499 CZK.

All models are compatible with both Android and iOS phones and require the Huawei Health app. Additionally, customers will receive a 3-month free Huawei Health+ membership with access to advanced training plans and meditations.
