Ahead of the premiere of the new smartwatches Huawei Watch GT 6 and Watch GT 6 Pro, detailed renders and complete specifications have leaked online. The information and visual materials come from reliable leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore, who teamed up with the editorial team of XpertPick, revealing not only the design of both models but also their technical parameters and European prices. The watches will be officially unveiled on September 19 at a global event previously announced by the manufacturer itself.

Two Different Design Approaches

From the leaked renders, it is clear that Huawei has once again chosen a different design philosophy for each series. The base Watch GT 6 model opts for an elegant, minimalist look, making it more suitable for formal wear (especially the 41mm variant, see gallery below).

In contrast, the Watch GT 6 Pro clearly signals its premium status with its design. Its more robust construction with a more prominent bezel and luxurious materials targets demanding users who expect not only functionality but also a status symbol on their wrist.

Three Size Variants with AMOLED Displays

The Watch GT 6 will offer two sizes – a more compact 41mm version with a 1.32″ AMOLED display and a larger 46mm model with a 1.47″ screen. Both variants feature a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels. For comparison, last year’s Watch GT 5 series came in 42mm and 46mm sizes, so the smaller model is now a bit more compact.

The Watch GT 6 Pro will be available only in a 46mm version with the same 1.47″ AMOLED panel as the base 46mm version. All models will offer 64GB of internal storage for music and applications.

Battery Life as the Main Trump Card

Huawei equipped the smaller 41mm Watch GT 6 with a 540mAh battery offering up to 14 days of battery life. The larger 46mm version received an 847mAh cell, which, according to the manufacturer, lasts an impressive 21 days on a single charge. The Pro model uses a slightly larger 867mAh battery with the same 21-day battery life.

Regarding weight, the 41mm version weighs 37.5 grams, while both 46mm models weigh an identical 51 grams. The dimensions of the Pro version are slightly different – it measures 45.6 × 45.6 × 11.2 mm compared to 46 × 46 × 11 mm for the base 46mm model.

Rich Sensor Equipment Including ECG

All Watch GT 6 series models will receive a complete set of sensors. In addition to the standard accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass, there’s a barometer, ambient light sensor, and depth sensor. For health functions, the watches will offer body temperature measurement, heart rate, and ECG.

An interesting feature is the presence of Huawei X-Tap, which allows controlling the watch with gestures. Naturally, there’s GPS for tracking sports activities, NFC for contactless payments, a microphone, and a speaker for making calls directly from the watch.

Prices Start at 259 Euros

In Europe, the base 41mm Watch GT 6 will cost 259 euros (approximately 6,300 CZK), while the larger 46mm version will be priced at 279 euros (6,800 CZK). The Pro model, priced at 379 euros (9,200 CZK), will be among the more premium offerings on the market.

Strap color variants differ by model. The 41mm version will come in white, purple, and gold, the 46mm model in black, brown, and green. The Pro edition will be available in a black, brown, and silver combination.

Availability Outside Europe

According to available information, the Huawei GT 6 will be unveiled globally on September 19, with the European market expected to be among the first. As every year, we also anticipate the watches being introduced to our market, but official prices for the Czech Republic are not yet known.

Are you looking forward to the new Huawei Watch GT 6?
