In practice, this means rich bass starting around 30 Hz and clear highs – mids are slightly weaker, but this is common in this price category.

Connection is simple: you have both a 3.5mm jack and RCA (cinch) available, so you can connect a computer, console, and TV. On the right speaker, you’ll find volume control and a headphone output. Unfortunately, the cables are fixed and relatively short – keep this in mind when planning the layout.

However, one warning is repeated: the subwoofer is too powerful. Most users recommend setting the bass to a maximum of a quarter, otherwise, it’s overdone. And if you live in an apartment building, one reviewer warns: “Apparently, the neighbors’ entire apartment shakes and is uninhabitable… and I’m only running it at a few percent of its power.” Great for a family house, but rather carefully in an apartment.
