The benchmark platform AnTuTu traditionally published the results for the past month, which this time brought a complete overhaul of the ranking of the fastest Android devices. All ten positions were occupied by new-generation models with this year’s flagship chipsets, many of which are yet to reach the Czech market.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 reigns supreme in the performance ranking

Absolute dominance was demonstrated by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which powers all five fastest phones in the ranking. The gaming beast Nubia Red Magic 11 Pro+ took first place with an average score of 4 132 403 points. The phone benefits from aggressive performance tuning, active cooling with a fan, and also a complete novelty in the form of liquid cooling.

Closely following is the OnePlus 15 with a score of 4 031 998 points, and the third place was taken by the iQOO 15 with a score of 4 030 245 points, which, in addition to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, also uses its own Q3 gaming chip for graphics enhancement, including ray tracing in supported games.

MediaTek still lags behind Qualcomm

The first phone with the competing MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset appears in the ranking only in sixth position. This is the Vivo X300 Pro model, which is already available on the Czech market and primarily attracts with its advanced photographic capabilities, including a 200Mpx telephoto lens. Although the Dimensity 9500 represents a significant performance leap over the previous generation, Snapdragon still outpaces it in raw performance.

We are witnessing a not-so-surprising victory in the tablet category, where the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro 13.3 dominates as the very first tablet with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. However, in the case of this model, we cannot clearly say whether it will also come to our market or not.

Which of these powerful phones would appeal to you the most?
