It adds four fast USBs to your laptop. The Vention hub now costs only 319 CZK with a code.

You connect an external SSD, and there are no connectors left on your laptop for a mouse and keyboard. The small Vention CHYBB hub is perfect for such a situation: you plug the splitter into one USB-C port and get two data USB-C and two classic USB-A ports. Alza is now offering it for 319 CZK with code ALZADNY20. For the price of a common accessory, you can expand your workstation without constantly swapping cables.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: a laptop where you want to use an external drive and accessories with both USB types simultaneously.
⚠️ Consider: there are four data outputs; the separate USB-C labeled 5V is an input for auxiliary power to the hub.
💡 Alza, after entering the code, comes out to 319 CZK, the same CHYBB at BScom costs 424 CZK before potential shipping.

Fast USB is especially useful for external SSDs

The combination of two USB-C and two USB-A ports is practical for a desk where newer drives meet older peripherals. You can use USB-C for an external SSD, and the larger USB-A for a mouse receiver or keyboard, for example. All four data ports can work simultaneously.

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface has a stated ceiling of 10 Gb/s. The computer’s port and the connected device must also support this, otherwise the transfer will run slower. Furthermore, devices share the speed of the common connection, so when copying between multiple drives, you cannot expect maximum speed on each simultaneously.

A small accessory for the desk and the bag

The integrated cable measures 0.15 meters, and according to Alza, the hub weighs 39 grams. It supports Plug & Play without installing special drivers. When connecting more power-intensive accessories, a separate power input labeled 5V can be used; this is not a port for charging a laptop.

The offer applies to the black CHYBB variant. Alza has it in stock, and you get the price of 319 CZK by entering ALZADNY20. The same model is also in stock at BScom for 424 CZK. If your laptop mainly lacks data connectors, this small item solves the problem quite cheaply.
