When charging a laptop from a power bank, it’s useful to know how many watts are actually flowing into it. The ChoeTech TFT shows this directly on the display, and it has a built-in cable, so you don’t have to search for it in drawers before leaving. The ChoeTech TFT 20000mAh PD130W power bank now costs 1,119 CZK instead of 1,599 CZK with code ALZADNY30, and this is its very first discount at Alza.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense if you want one power bank for a USB-C charged laptop and a phone, and you don’t want to carry an extra cable.
⚠️ Consider that it doesn’t have a single rating on Alza yet, and with a weight of 512 grams, you won’t be carrying it in your pocket.
💡 For 1,119 CZK, you’ll get it 480 CZK cheaper, which is a 30% discount, something Alza hasn’t offered for this model before.

How many watts can a laptop get from it?

The 130 W in the name is the total output, which is shared by three outputs: two USB-C and one USB-A. This means you can charge a laptop, phone, and headphones simultaneously. Additionally, the power bank has a built-in 70cm cable with a USB-C connector, which, according to the product name, can also be used to charge the power bank itself. Whether this cable counts as one of the two mentioned USB-C outputs is not clarified in the Alza description.

However, don’t expect the full 130 W from a single port. Alza states a maximum voltage of 20 V and current of 5 A, which yields a maximum of 100 W. This is usually sufficient for common laptops charged via USB-C. The seller boasts that it can charge a 14-inch MacBook Pro to 50% in 30 minutes. How much it will be for your laptop, however, depends on its battery and what else is currently connected to the power bank.

Display monitors temperature, kickstand holds phone

According to the description on Alza, the TFT display shows input and output power, charge status, temperature, and operating time. You’ll especially appreciate the wattage display for laptops: you can immediately see if it’s charging at full speed or just slowly. You can set how long the display should stay on, according to the description.

You’ll also find a foldable kickstand on the body, against which you can prop your phone to watch videos or make video calls while charging. On a train or at the airport, this can be more pleasant than holding a phone with a dangling cable in your hand.

Who would do better with a different power bank?

If you only charge a phone and headphones, you won’t utilize 130 W, and a smaller, lighter model will serve you better. Those who dislike buying products without a single review can wait until the first owner experiences appear on Alza. And if your main concern is 100 W via USB-C and the lowest possible price, check out the UGREEN power bank with the same capacity, which cost 844 CZK with a code at the time our article was published.

For 1,119 CZK, it’s especially worth it with a laptop in your backpack

The ChoeTech TFT offers a built-in cable, a display showing watts and temperature, and enough power for a laptop for 1,119 CZK with code ALZADNY30. I would personally go for it if I often worked with a laptop outside the office and didn’t want to worry about which cable to take before each trip. However, more cautious buyers should be aware that this is a model without ratings, and no one has yet shared long-term experiences with it on Alza.

Do you prefer a cable built directly into the power bank, or do you carry your own?
