You don’t have to charge AA and AAA accumulators separately. The AlzaPower USB Battery Charger PU840B can accommodate up to eight cells, and both formats can be mixed. It currently costs 524 CZK on Alza with code ALZADNY25. Its main benefit lies in the independent management of individual slots: the charger adapts the current to the needs of each inserted battery.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: households that use multiple rechargeable AA and AAA Ni-MH or Ni-Cd cells with a voltage of 1.2 V.
⚠️ Consider: the maximum current per slot is 300 mA. The offer focuses more on the number of cells charged simultaneously rather than speed.
💡 The code saves 175 CZK compared to the current public price.

Each cell has its own indicator light

When charging different cells together, you don’t have to monitor a single indicator light for the entire set. Each slot has its own LED: red means charging, green means completion. This way, you’ll immediately know which battery you can return to the device and which one still needs time.

The indicator lights also serve to report problems. According to the seller, they flash red and green alternately when a cell is inserted incorrectly, when a battery is faulty, or when a disposable alkaline battery is inserted. The charger also features automatic charging termination after full charge and a timed shutdown after 13 hours.

You need your own adapter for the outlet

Power is supplied via USB-C, and the included cable measures 60 cm. To connect to the electrical grid, it requires an adapter with at least 10 W of power, which is not included in the package. Therefore, before purchasing, check if you have a suitable power source at home.

How many rechargeable AA and AAA batteries do you regularly use at home?
