Konkr Pocket FIT is an Android handheld with ultimate performance and a surprisingly great price Home News Android "retro" handheld consoles are growing in popularity, and so is their market offering Most models feature outdated hardware, which is sufficient for older titles However, the new Konkr Pocket FIT handheld will certainly not lack in terms of performance Sdílejte: Vašek Švec Published: 8. 9. 2025 02:30 Advertisement If you are a fan of handheld consoles – whether with Windows or Android – you have probably already come across products from the Ayaneo brand. It is behind the brand new Android handheld Konkr Pocket FIT, which is entering the pre-order phase via the Indiegogo platform. It looks like we have a new champion with the best price/performance ratio. Snapdragon 8 Elite at a reasonable price One of the most important, if not the most important, parameters for consoles is, of course, performance. The new Konkr Pocket FIT handheld will be available in two variants. Even with the cheaper variant, you certainly won’t be lacking in this regard, as it will offer the Qualcomm Snapdragon G3 Gen3 chipset, while the more powerful variant comes directly with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The remaining hardware of both versions is identical and includes, for example, a 6″ FullHD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate, stereo speakers, and USB 3.2 with DisplayPort 1.4 support. Inside is a battery with a solid capacity of 8,000 mAh and Power Delivery support with an unspecified charging power. Powerful chips naturally also need efficient cooling under high load. For this reason, the handheld is equipped with large copper cooling combined with a fan. The controller has a layout similar to that of Xbox consoles, and the joysticks use a Hall sensor. Another interesting feature is the dual mode for LT / RT triggers – analog and digital. Depending on the game, you can use them for smooth throttle control or rapid firing. For comfortable holding, the console is ergonomically shaped, and its relatively low weight of 386 grams also helps with longer gaming sessions, along with strong haptic feedback. Regarding software, the situation is a bit confusing, as – unless it’s a typo on the manufacturer’s part – the cheaper model will arrive with Android 14, while the more expensive one will come directly with Android 16. In both cases, however, there will be a host of software enhancements for a better gaming experience, from button mapping to keyboard and mouse mode. There are also several performance profiles, and the ability to emulate a specific Android smartphone to improve device compatibility sounds interesting. The AYAspace app’s library will help you manage retro games and their emulation. Konkr Pocket FIT Price As mentioned at the beginning, you can currently pre-order the new Konkr Pocket FIT handheld via the Indiegogo.com platform and get it at a very attractive discounted price. The biggest discount applies during the first week of the campaign, allowing you to get the basic 8/128 GB model for $239, which is approximately 5 thousand CZK. The Snapdragon 8 Elite model in the same memory configuration will cost you $269, or approximately 5,600 CZK. Do you own an Android handheld?
