A camera behind the windshield captures what happened in front of you. But if someone bumps your rear bumper at a traffic light, the front footage won’t help much. The LAMAX N10 GPS 3in1 now costs 2,794 CZK with code ALZADNY35, while it normally costs 4,299 CZK. And for that price, you’ll find three cameras right in the box.

Quick summary:
✅ It makes sense if you want footage from the front, rear, and possibly the cabin, and you don’t want to assemble cameras from multiple boxes.
⚠️ Consider that only the front camera has full 4K, and when recording with all three, its footage drops to 2.5K.
💡 For 2,794 CZK, you get a trio of cameras with GPS, 5GHz Wi-Fi, and a supercapacitor, without needing to buy anything extra.

You can now buy the camera 35% cheaper than its regular price

At the beginning of October, the camera dropped from its regular price of 4,299 CZK to 3,439 CZK, and now with code ALZADNY35, it goes even lower. It has not been sold for 2,794 CZK on Alza before, so you save 1,505 CZK from the regular price, which is 35%.

Plenty of buyers have already been found. Alza reports over 1,000 units sold, the camera has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 26 customers, and 81% of them recommend it.

Front camera records in 4K, drops to 2.5K with all three

The front camera records in up to 4K, the rear and interior cameras in Full HD. Both the front and rear cameras have a 150° field of view according to the manufacturer. Alza lists a maximum of 25 frames per second in its specifications.

However, the resolution changes depending on how many cameras are currently recording. The front and rear can handle 4K and Full HD. As soon as you add the interior camera, the front recording drops to 2.5K, and the other two remain in Full HD. So, you only get full 4K from the front without the cabin camera.

The interior camera has infrared illumination, which switches the image to black and white mode in low light. The manufacturer recommends it for taxi drivers or parents, for example. Audio is recorded by default, but you can turn off the microphone.

GPS is hidden in the magnetic mount

The mount adheres to the glass with 3M tape, and the camera is held by a magnet. GPS is built directly into the mount and records the location into the video. In case of an accident, the G-sensor automatically locks the recording to prevent overwriting, and it can also be done manually with a button. Otherwise, the camera records in a loop with adjustable length.

You can download videos to your phone via the app and 5GHz Wi-Fi, which LAMAX claims is several times faster than standard 2.4GHz. The camera saves to a microSD card up to 256 GB, but it is not included in the package contents. A USB card reader is in the box for transfer to a computer. The menu is entirely in Czech, and the IPS display is just over 3 inches.

Instead of a battery, the N10 has a supercapacitor, which the manufacturer claims is more durable and lasts longer. LAMAX specifies an operating temperature from −10 to +50 °C. It is powered via USB-C, and the car charger adapter has a second port with fast charging, so you can also charge your phone on the go. The power cable measures 3.5 meters.

When three cameras are unnecessary

If you drive alone and only need footage from the road in front of the car, you’re paying for two cameras you won’t use. A simpler dashcam with a single lens might be cheaper.

Furthermore, without a battery, the camera only runs as long as it receives power. To monitor a parked car, it would need continuous power, and Alza’s description doesn’t mention anything about a parking mode. And anyone who wants full 4K from the front and cabin footage simultaneously won’t get it here.

Those who transport people will get the most out of it

I would primarily consider the LAMAX N10 GPS 3in1 at this price for a car where someone else often sits, whether it’s a taxi or a family with children in the back. In such cases, cabin and rear footage makes the most sense, and for 2,794 CZK with code ALZADNY35, you get it without having to find additional cameras. Those who drive alone and only need front footage will save money with a simpler camera. And anyone who wants to monitor their car in a parking lot should rather look for a model that clearly states it has a parking mode.

Is a camera that only monitors the road in front of your car enough for you, or would you also like footage from the rear and the cabin?
