Large 31.5″ LG IPS monitor costs 3,850 CZK with a code. It offers QHD resolution and USB-C

A large workspace doesn’t have to mean an expensive gaming monitor. The LG 32U631A-B offers a 31.5-inch IPS panel with QHD resolution and now costs 3,850 CZK with code 2026ALZAEXTRA10 on Alza. The regular price listed by the store is 4,278 CZK, and the monitor is in stock.

Quick summary

👍 Makes sense for: Work and occasional gaming, if you appreciate 100Hz refresh rate in addition to a large screen.
🤔 Consider: The maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2 is a reason for caution on a brightly lit desk, even though the display has a matte finish.
💰 Measure your desk before ordering: the monitor is 71.42 cm wide and has a stated depth of 23.5 cm.

QHD for two windows, 100 Hz even when just scrolling the web

The resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels is useful, for example, when transcribing notes from the web into a document: you can keep both windows side-by-side and switch between them less often. However, a large diagonal primarily serves for comfortable content viewing. By itself, it doesn’t add workspace compared to a smaller monitor with the same resolution and scaling settings.

A 100 Hz refresh rate is not only useful in games. You’ll also appreciate it when scrolling long pages or moving windows, where it allows for smoother motion display. For occasional gaming, it’s a welcome feature; the stated response time is 5 ms.

USB-C for display, arm for more flexible placement

The monitor has one HDMI 2.0 input and one USB-C for video, offering two options for connecting a computer, and it also features a headphone output.

The stand allows tilting. Those who need to position the screen at eye level or free up space underneath it can use a compatible arm thanks to the VESA 100×100 mounting. For a monitor of this size, it’s worth considering the placement as carefully as the connection itself.

Do you find a large monitor like this suitable for work, or do you prefer using two smaller screens?
