Apple replaced the Plus model with the thin iPhone Air last year, making the iPhone 16 Plus the last of its kind. You can now get it on Heureka from 16,990 CZK – that’s 10 thousand less than at launch. For someone who wants a large iPhone without the Pro Max premium, this is an interesting offer.

The main draw is the 6.7″ Super Retina XDR display and a battery that lasted over 16 hours of active use in tests. The phone weighs 199 grams – less than the iPhone 16/17 Pro Max. The A18 chip can handle anything, including Apple Intelligence, and will have support for years to come. The cameras with a 48MP main sensor and 12MP ultrawide are solid, and Camera Control is included for more convenient photography.

The catch? The display only has 60 Hz, which is disappointing in 2025. The base iPhone 17 already offers 120 Hz, but it costs 5 thousand more and has a smaller screen. If scrolling smoothness isn’t a priority for you and a large diagonal with long battery life is, the iPhone 16 Plus for 17 thousand makes sense. Just keep in mind that 128GB storage might become limiting over time.
