If you read our previous tip on the 77″ LG OLED77B56 for under 28 thousand and thought that OLED wouldn’t work in your glass-walled room, here’s an alternative. The LG 75QNED93A6A is now on Alza for 24,044 CZK after entering the code AUDIOVIDEOTYDNY35 — and you’ll also receive three Netflix gift vouchers with a total value of 3,000 CZK. The original price from last May was almost 60 thousand CZK, so the discount exceeds 60%. For four thousand less than the mentioned OLED, you get a TV that may not have perfect black, but easily outperforms it in a bright space.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you want a large and bright TV for a living room where the sun shines during the day, you play games on a console or PC, and you want Dolby Vision with support for up to 144 Hz.
⚠️ Consider if you expect perfect black like with OLED — Mini LED is significantly better than standard LED, but it won’t surpass OLED. Viewing angles are also more limited.
💡 For 24,044 CZK, you get a 75″ Mini LED panel with ~960 dimming zones, Dolby Vision IQ, 144 Hz gaming mode, 4× HDMI 2.1, Nvidia G-Sync, 40W speakers with Dolby Atmos, webOS, and Magic Remote.

Mini LED with almost a thousand dimming zones

The QNED93 is LG’s flagship in the Mini LED category — and that means it offers the best picture you can get from LG without switching to OLED. The panel with a resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 pixels uses Quantum Dot and Nanocell technology for accurate colors, while Mini LED backlighting with approximately 960 dimming zones (for the 75″ variant) ensures significantly deeper blacks and better contrast than conventional LED TVs.

International reviewers measured a peak HDR brightness of over 1,440 nits on the 65″ model. For comparison: the LG OLED77B56, which we recommended above, achieves around 670 nits. In practice, this means that the QNED93 shines more than twice as brightly and excels precisely where OLED falters — in a bright room during the day. Dolby Vision IQ also automatically adjusts HDR to ambient lighting. Support for HDR10 and HLG is a given; HDR10+ is missing, but unlike the cheaper OLED B series, you also get Dolby Vision IQ here.

144 Hz and gaming features

Gamers will get more than with most TVs in this price category. All four HDMI 2.1 ports support 4K at 120 Hz, and in gaming mode, up to 144 Hz with VRR is available — that’s 24 frames per second more than the aforementioned OLED77B56 offers. In addition, AMD FreeSync Premium, Nvidia G-Sync, automatic low latency mode ALLM, Dolby Vision Gaming, and a gaming dashboard with real-time overview of current parameters. Reviewers praise the perfectly smooth, tear-free image even in the most demanding scenes.

You’ll also appreciate the significantly higher brightness in HDR games with contrasting lighting effects — explosions, reflections, and neon colors will stand out more than on an OLED panel with limited brightness. The game optimizer in the menu allows you to fine-tune black levels, input lag, and picture mode without leaving the game.

OLED or Mini LED? It depends on the room

Both TVs from the current promotion use the same Alpha 8 AI Gen2 processor, the same webOS system with a guarantee of four updates, and the same Magic Remote controller. The differences lie in the panel technology — and these are crucial. The LG OLED77B56 for 27,993 CZK offers perfect black, infinite contrast, and wider viewing angles, but weaker brightness and a glossy panel that causes distracting reflections in a bright room. The LG QNED93 for 24,044 CZK, on the other hand, is more than twice as bright, has Dolby Vision IQ, 144 Hz gaming mode, more powerful 40W speakers, and three Netflix vouchers — but the black will never be as perfect, and you’ll see color loss from the side.

Simple rule: do you watch movies and series in dim light in the evening? Go for OLED. Do you have a TV in a living room with large windows, play games, and the whole family sits at various angles? Mini LED will be a better choice — and you’ll save four thousand.

What to watch out for

The webOS system offers a complete range of streaming services — Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, YouTube, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and Oneplay. Ads in the main menu are present but can be turned off. The QNED93 performs better sound-wise than the OLED B series thanks to its 40W speakers in a 2.2 channel configuration with Dolby Atmos support — but international reviewers agree that the AI Sound Pro mode paradoxically tends to worsen the sound with sharp and fatiguing treble reproduction. A better choice is the standard or Cinema mode, or investing in a soundbar.

One user on Alza points out a slow startup for satellite broadcasting (approx. 20 seconds), slower response in settings, and slightly grayish corners of the picture. The complaint rate is 0.7%, the rating is 4.8 out of 5, and 100% of customers recommend the TV. For less than 25 thousand, including three Netflix vouchers, it’s an offer worth acting on quickly.

Verdict

The LG 75QNED93A6A for 24,044 CZK is the exact counterpart to the OLED77B56 from the previous tip. Where OLED shines in the dark, Mini LED dominates in light. Almost a thousand dimming zones, brightness over 1,400 nits, Dolby Vision IQ, 144 Hz gaming mode, 40W speakers, and three Netflix vouchers — all for a price at which you’d buy a 65″ mid-range model elsewhere. If your TV is in a room with windows and you’re looking for maximum picture for minimum money, this is it.

Do you prefer the brightness of Mini LED, or the perfect black of an OLED panel?
