OLED for a reasonable price is still the most reliable path to a top-tier picture – and the 65″ LG B6 now costs 22,494 CZK on Alza instead of the original 37,490 CZK, which is almost 15 thousand less. It’s a brand new 2026 model, so instead of listing parameters, let’s look at what foreign reviews, which have already measured it, have found out about it.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you want perfect OLED black, top-tier gaming (4× HDMI 2.1, 120 Hz, VRR), and an excellent webOS system at a reasonable price.
⚠️ Consider that the sound from the 20W speakers calls for a soundbar, the screen reflects in a brightly lit room, and reviewers mention a slightly greenish tint in some scenes.
💡 For 22,494 CZK (−40%), it’s one of the most affordable ways to get a new-generation 65″ OLED.

What foreign reviews found out about the B6

Reviewers agree that the main improvement over last year’s B5 series is higher brightness. TechRadar measured peak brightness of around 835 nits in Filmmaker mode and almost 900 nits in Cinema mode on the B6 – a significant leap from its predecessor, making bright scenes more impressive and colors more vibrant. Contrast and black depth remain at the level you expect from an OLED.

One detail, however, is worth mentioning: the same reviewers, in a direct comparison, noted a slightly greenish tint in some darker scenes on the B6. During normal viewing in isolation, it’s something the eye quickly adjusts to, but we mention it fairly because it was a criticism of LG OLEDs before.

One of the best OLEDs of the year for gaming

The B6 excels here. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, all supporting 4K at 120 Hz, full variable refresh rate support (both AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync), ALLM, and Dolby Vision Gaming. Key number: foreign measurements showed an input latency of just 8.9 ms at 60 Hz and 4.9 ms at 120 Hz, which is among the best gaming TVs. For owners of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and gaming PCs, it’s an ideal 65″ screen.

Where it makes compromises

Sound. The B6 only has a 2.0 system with 20W of power. It’s sufficient for casual viewing, clear speech, and TV series, but the bass is weaker, and the sound doesn’t spread widely. If you want the sound to match the picture quality, plan on a soundbar. The screen is also quite reflective, so glare may appear in a brightly lit room – you’ll get the best experience in a darker environment. And as mentioned above, also watch out for a potential green tint, although it’s something most viewers will overlook in practice.

Why the discount to 22,494 CZK changes the equation

Foreign reviews address the dilemma of whether to pay extra for the higher C6 series or opt for the cheaper last year’s B5 – but they calculate with their local launch prices. In the Czech market, the B6 is currently almost 15 thousand cheaper, which fundamentally changes that calculation. For 22,494 CZK, you get a brand new 65″ 2026 OLED with the latest webOS system and top-tier gaming features. In this price range, it’s among the most interesting OLEDs you can buy right now – and if picture quality is your priority, the discount makes it a strong choice.

Who the B6 is right for

It’s especially suitable for gamers and movie fans who want perfect OLED black, fast gaming, and a modern system, and who tend to watch in a darkened room. If, on the other hand, you often watch in a brightly lit room or want quality sound without a soundbar, expect compromises or consider a more expensive series. However, for most households looking for their first proper OLED, the B6 at this price is a hit.

Is picture quality for gaming or a cinematic experience with sound more important to you in an OLED?
