Lidl has started selling its best robotic lawnmower in the Czech Republic. It can be controlled by mobile and is suitable for larger gardens Home News Lidl has started selling the PARKSIDE PERFORMANCE PPAMR 1250 A1 Smart & Free robotic lawnmower for 16,999 CZK in the Czech Republic The new model does not require a boundary wire and navigates using a camera with obstacle recognition It can mow lawns up to 1,250 m² and the manufacturer provides a five-year warranty Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 20. 4. 2026 22:30 Advertisement In recent years, robotic lawnmowers have transformed from expensive toys for enthusiasts into standard equipment for Czech gardens, and Lidl plays an accelerating role in this trend. The German discounter has gradually expanded the PARKSIDE brand’s portfolio with increasingly capable models, but these previously required the tedious laying of a boundary wire around the perimeter of the lawn. With the latest addition, the PARKSIDE PERFORMANCE PPAMR 1250 A1 Smart & Free, this is no longer the case – the model belongs to a higher class of devices that map their position in the garden themselves. Camera instead of wire: the main reason to pay extra Six mowing modes and a daily planner Parameters: 1,250 m², 34% incline, and LED headlights Battery compatible with other PARKSIDE tools The lawnmower is available online for 16,999 CZK with free shipping, which is significantly higher than what we were used to with PARKSIDE. However, for that price, the customer gets hardware that can already be compared to competing brands like ECOVACS. The package includes both the battery and the charging station, so at home, you just need to unbox and set it up. Camera instead of wire: the main reason to pay extra By far the most significant difference compared to older PARKSIDE models is in navigation. While previously introduced lawnmowers require the laborious laying of a boundary wire around the entire lawn – which can easily take a whole afternoon for larger gardens – the new PPAMR 1250 A1 navigates exclusively using a built-in camera. This camera monitors the lawn boundaries, recognizes obstacles, and can avoid objects that shouldn’t be in its path. The camera system is, of course, accompanied by classic obstacle sensors and a tilt sensor, which immediately switches off the device if it is lifted or overturned. This is a safety feature for families with children and pets, although it should not be an excuse for carelessness. Six mowing modes and a daily planner The PPAMR 1250 A1 offers six different mowing modes – full-area, edge mowing, custom boundary, up to four separately defined zones, spot mowing of a selected area, and manually controlled operation. This allows it to cover even more complex gardens with multiple lawn areas separated by paths or ornamental flowerbeds. OBJEDNAT SEKAČKU Scheduling is handled by the PARKSIDE app, which communicates with the lawnmower via both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Up to 10 working times can be set for each day of the week, mowing can be started manually, or the status can be checked directly from a mobile phone. For those who do not use the app, there is a built-in LC display and control panel directly on the machine’s body. A PIN code protects the lawnmower against theft or accidental activation. Parameters: 1,250 m², 34% incline, and LED headlights As for the mowing itself, the PPAMR 1250 A1 has a cutting width of 22 cm and can handle an area of up to 1,250 m², which is 66% more than its smaller sibling, the PAMRS 750 A1. The cutting height can be continuously adjusted from 25 to 60 mm with a central rotary regulator, and the mowing itself is handled by a three-blade rotary system with double-sided blades. The drive is provided by a brushless DC motor with lower wear and longer lifespan, which powers the front wheels and allows it to tackle inclines of up to 19° (34%). The travel speed is 1.2 km/h, which is a fifth more than the PAMRS 750 A1. Practical additions include integrated LED headlights, allowing the lawnmower to see even in overcast weather or at dusk, and a rain sensor for automatic return to the charging station during rain. Battery compatible with other PARKSIDE tools The lawnmower uses a 20V battery with a 4 Ah capacity from the PARKSIDE X 20 V Team system. This is good news for anyone who already owns other tools from this range – the battery can be swapped into, for example, a cordless screwdriver or a string trimmer and vice versa. The charging time is 90 minutes, and thanks to Cell Balancing technology, which evenly loads individual cells, the battery has a longer lifespan. KOUPIT SEKAČKU V LIDLU The machine itself weighs 10 kg, measures 57 × 41 × 25.2 cm, and has an integrated aluminum handle for easy carrying. The charging station comes with a power adapter with a 2.2-meter cable and a 3-meter extension, and includes a three-stage charging status indicator. What do you think of the new lawnmower from Lidl?
