Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard is on sale now! It has low-profile switches and long battery life

The Logitech MX Mechanical is one of the most popular premium keyboards for office work. You can now get it on Alza for 3,144 CZK with code VYPRODEJ15 – that’s a third less than the original price. One piece is also on sale at T.S Bohemia for a few tens of crowns less.

The keyboard uses low-profile GL Tactile switches – quieter than classic mechanical, but still louder than membrane ones, like those offered by MX Keys S. Intelligent backlighting activates when hands approach and adjusts brightness to ambient light. Battery life is up to 15 days with backlighting, up to 10 months without. Charging is via USB-C; 15 minutes is enough for a day’s work.

The main advantage is connection to three devices with one-button switching – it works with both Windows and macOS. In combination with an MX Master mouse, it can synchronize switching between computers via Logi Options+. Users on Alza (4.4/5, 83% recommend) praise the build quality and typing comfort. They dislike the non-standard layout – missing Print Screen, Scroll Lock, and gaps between F-keys. This might be an issue for programmers, but for general work, most users don’t mind.

For three thousand, you can certainly buy a mechanical keyboard with higher quality switches, but if you’re not into gaming design and want something discreet, and you also have other Logitech accessories, especially an MX Master mouse, this purchase might make sense.
