Are you starting with video creation, vlogging, or photography and want to move from a phone to a “real” camera? The Sony ZV-E10 with a kit lens now costs 15,989 CZK with code ALZADNY10. I use it myself and am very satisfied with it even after years.

Quick summary:
Makes sense for aspiring YouTubers, streamers, and photographers – great image, fast autofocus, flip-out display, and the ability to change lenses.
⚠️ Consider that the kit lens is weaker, there’s no viewfinder, Sony’s menu is notoriously confusing, and battery life is only average.
💡 For 15,989 CZK with code ALZADNY10, it’s an ideal entry into the world of interchangeable lenses and “real” video quality.

Why I use it too

I shoot most of my videos with the ZV-E10 and I’m satisfied with it. For the price, it offers excellent image and video output thanks to its large APS-C sensor (24 Mpx), good dynamic range, and decent results even in low light. Additionally, it has fast and reliable face and eye autofocus, a compact and lightweight body for handheld use or carrying in a backpack, a flip-out touchscreen for selfie shots, and a high-quality built-in microphone. For video, there’s S-Log3 and HLG, recording without a 30-minute limit, and power supply and charging via USB-C. And because it’s a Sony E system, you have dozens of lenses to choose from. A successor already exists, but it’s considerably more expensive – and this model is still more than sufficient for everyday content creation.

What to expect

Let’s be fair. The biggest weakness of the set is the 16–50 mm kit lens – it needs a lot of light, otherwise it’s noisy and not very sharp. It will serve its purpose for beginners, but over time I recommend buying a better lens, with which the camera will truly show what it’s capable of. Also, be aware that it doesn’t have a viewfinder (it’s a vlogging body), Sony’s menu is notoriously confusing and takes some getting used to, battery life is only average (take a spare or a power bank), and rolling shutter occurs. Furthermore, stabilization is only electronic and crops the image when activated, so for handheld shots, lens stabilization will be more helpful. Don’t expect a built-in flash – an external one can be added.

For entering the world of video creation and photography with interchangeable lenses, it’s a great choice for under 16 thousand, and I personally vouch for it. Just factor in a better lens into your plan when you want to elevate the quality.
