Fans of affordable smartphones from Xiaomi can look forward to the imminent arrival of the new generation of the popular Redmi Note 15 series. According to renowned leakers Abhishek Yadav and Paras Guglani, the phones are expected to leave China and expand globally precisely in January 2025. The current Redmi Note 14 series was released in the same month this year.

Changes compared to Chinese versions are certain

Paras Guglani also confirms that global models will differ from Chinese variants, which is no surprise. We saw a similar situation with last year’s Redmi Note 14 series, where international versions came with modified specifications compared to previously released domestic models.

The biggest changes can probably be expected in the top-tier model Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. While the Chinese variant features a telephoto lens, the global version will likely offer only a macro sensor. However, it might retain the 7,000 mAh battery this time.

Five models for the Czech market

The Redmi Note 15 series should arrive in the Czech Republic with a complete lineup of five models. Customers will be able to choose from the basic Redmi Note 15, its 5G variant Redmi Note 15 5G, the more powerful Redmi Note 15 Pro, its 5G version Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, and the best-equipped Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G.

This strategy mirrors last year’s successful model, where Xiaomi, considering introductory prices, covered the entire price spectrum from 4,000 to 10,000 Czech crowns. Each model will thus appeal to a different group of customers – from the most budget-conscious to more demanding users.
