The built-in 5,200 mAh battery with a stated endurance of up to 120 days (depends on detection frequency and settings) means you can place the camera anywhere within WiFi range – under the roof, on a fence, on a garage wall, or at a cottage. The solar panel, which is included in the package, continuously recharges the camera, so under normal operation, the battery should not run out at all. In winter, with shorter days and lower sun intensity, charging may be slower, but even then, the 120-day battery backup will cover most situations.
