Motorola Moto G86 Power 5G dropped below 7 thousand! It has a huge battery, IP69 rating, and a bright pOLED display

Motorola brought the mid-range model Moto G86 Power 5G to the Czech Republic in June, and its price has significantly dropped since then. In domestic e-shops, you can now get the phone for less than 7 thousand crowns for the first time. The cheapest offer currently stands at 6,840 CZK, but if you are among consumers who prefer shopping from Alza, it can also be purchased on sale there. The price there, 7,379 CZK, is still among the better ones on our market.

Record-breaking battery with weekend-long endurance

The main trump card of the Moto G86 Power 5G is its massive 6,720mAh battery, which Motorola calls its largest to date. The manufacturer states a battery life of up to 53 hours on a single charge, which in practice means comfortably getting through an entire weekend without needing to recharge. A disadvantage, however, might be the mere 30W charging, with which Motorola lags behind many competitors in the same price category (for example, the slightly cheaper Redmi Note 14 Pro can handle 45W).

Premium display with fantastic brightness

Motorola equipped the phone with a pOLED display with 10-bit color depth and DCI-P3 color space support, which is commonly found in more expensive models. The screen offers a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels and stands out primarily for its maximum brightness of 4,500 nits, making it easily readable even in direct sunlight. A 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth display.

Performance and memory for demanding users

Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor operates, which is among the more powerful mid-range chipsets. The phone features 8 GB of RAM with the option of software expansion and also offers a memory card slot. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology are available for a higher quality audio experience.

Interesting software features include Moto Unplugged for digital detox, allowing you to set access only to selected applications and contacts. The Smart Connect feature, on the other hand, allows you to display phone content on a TV or computer for more convenient work with applications.

Triple camera setup with optical stabilization

The photographic equipment consists of a 50Mpx main Sony LYTIA 600 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), complemented by an 8Mpx ultrawide-angle lens with a 118° field of view. This also functions as a macro camera for detailed close-up shots. Selfies are handled by a 32Mpx front camera with an f/2.2 aperture, capable of recording 4K video at 30 fps. Motorola adds several photographic modes, including night vision, a professional mode with RAW file saving capability, and 360° panoramas.

Who is the phone advantageous for at this price?

With a price of 6,840 CZK, the Moto G86 Power 5G represents an interesting choice primarily for users who would like a phone with good battery life and a quality display. The combination of a 6,720mAh battery and a pOLED screen with 4,500 nits brightness is not easily found among competitors. Thanks to IP68/IP69 certification and military standard MIL-STD 810H, it can also handle more demanding conditions, including dust and water.
