New Anker headphones feature a case with a giant display that can take meeting notes. They cost over 6 thousand in the Czech Republic. Home News Anker soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max headphones have arrived in the Czech Republic with a price of 6,490 CZK in black and gold variants The charging case features a 1.78″ AMOLED display, and the headphones can transcribe and summarize meetings in real-time using AI Battery life is 28 hours with the case with ANC enabled, the headphones are IP55 rated for durability and feature Bluetooth 6.1 Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 24. 5. 2026 14:40 Advertisement Wireless headphones are no longer just for listening to music. Manufacturers are stuffing them with heart rate sensors, translators, and voice assistants, trying to turn them into something like a small in-ear computer. Anker goes a step further with the soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max model: the charging case received a touch-sensitive AMOLED display and can also record, transcribe, and summarize an entire meeting or lecture. The new product, which the manufacturer introduced just a few days ago, has already appeared on the Czech market, priced at 6,490 CZK. Case with Display and AI Meeting Recorder Clear Calls and Powerful Noise Cancellation Sound, Battery Life, and Durability Price, Availability, and Who They Make Sense For Case with Display and AI Meeting Recorder The main attraction is the 1.78″ AMOLED display built directly into the charging case. Through it, you can switch noise cancellation modes, start recording, or change headphone settings without reaching for your phone. The case also supports custom wallpapers, so you can customize its appearance via the Soundcore app. The second prominent feature is the AI recorder. The headphones can transcribe meetings, lectures, and conversations in real-time and then generate a summary with key points and tasks. According to the manufacturer, this will save you approximately 10 to 15 minutes for every hour of a meeting. The feature works with iOS, Android, and computers, and data is synchronized to your phone via the Soundcore app. However, it’s important to pay attention here. Transcription takes place in the cloud and supports 154 languages. While Anker claims you have full control over your data and can delete it at any time, these are still recordings sent to third-party servers. The second catch is availability: the AI recorder is free only for up to 120 minutes per month for 24 months; for longer use, the manufacturer charges an additional fee. Headphones with a display are thus not a one-time investment, but partly also a service with a limit. Clear Calls and Powerful Noise Cancellation Sound and voice processing are handled by the Anker Thus chip, which, according to the manufacturer, has 150× higher computing power than the previous generation. For calls, the headphones combine eight microphones and two voice vibration sensors complemented by an AI model. Soundcore states that the other party will hear you even in noisy environments exceeding 100 dB. Furthermore, the related Liberty 5 Pro model earned a Guinness World Record entry in April 2026 for the highest measured speech quality in TWS headphones, and the Pro Max uses the same units. Ambient noise cancellation is provided by Adaptive ANC 4.0. According to Anker, eight sensors process over 384,000 sound signals per second, and the system continuously adapts to the environment. The manufacturer speaks of up to 100% more effective ANC compared to the previous flagship model, Liberty 4 Pro – however, this is Anker’s own claim, not an independent measurement. A transparent mode is also included, allowing you to hear your surroundings without removing the headphones. Sound, Battery Life, and Durability Inside, we find 9.2mm drivers with wool and paper diaphragms. The sound can be customized via the HearID 5.0 function, which tests your hearing and creates an individual equalizer. According to the manufacturer, the AI Audio Enhancer then reduces quality loss during wireless transmission by up to 65%. The headphones also support Dolby Atmos spatial audio with head tracking. Regarding battery life, with ANC enabled, the headphones themselves last 6.5 hours, and with the charging case, a total of 28 hours. With noise cancellation off, these values increase to 12 and 50 hours, respectively. Fast charging also works – five minutes in the case adds approximately four hours of playback. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.1 with the ability to connect up to three devices simultaneously and automatically switch between them. The headphones weigh 5.5 grams, have IP55 protection against sweat and splashing water, and can also be controlled by 20 voice commands that work offline. Price, Availability, and Who They Make Sense For The Liberty 5 Pro Max are currently sold in the Czech Republic for 6,490 CZK in two colors – black and gold. We have only found the new product at a limited number of retailers so far; for example, Alza does not have them in its catalog. However, they will likely gradually become available in other e-shops. At 6,490 CZK, these are not cheap headphones, and the key question is whether you will appreciate what sets them apart from the competition. The AMOLED display on the case might seem interesting, but you might eventually find that you don’t use it, and the AI meeting transcription will be primarily valued by people who spend their days in meetings, students in lectures, or journalists during interviews – that is, those for whom summarizing spoken words is a real time-saver. However, anyone who just wants great-sounding headphones with strong ANC will pay extra for features they might never use, and on top of that, deal with cloud transcription with a monthly limit. Would you put headphones in your ears that transcribe an entire meeting for you?
