Chinese Xiaomi has expanded its monitor portfolio with a new model, the Redmi Monitor A24 2026 Multi-Function Stand Edition, which surprises with an unusual combination of features. While the manufacturer primarily focuses on office use, it equipped the monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate, which is more typical for gaming displays. In China, the new product sells for 519 yuan, which translates to approximately 1,500 CZK.

Work Monitor with Gaming DNA

The Redmi Monitor A24 features a 23.8-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The 144Hz refresh rate is the biggest surprise – most office monitors in this price category offer a much lower value of 75 Hz. The high frequency is not just a marketing ploy – the monitor genuinely handles a 6ms response time (gray-to-gray), ensuring smooth visuals when quickly scrolling through documents or working with graphics.

The display covers 99% of the sRGB color space with a color accuracy of ΔE < 2, which meets basic requirements for graphic work. A typical brightness of 300 nits is sufficient for a standard office environment, although it might be inadequate when working near a window. The monitor supports 8-bit colors (6-bit + FRC) and offers viewing angles of 178° horizontally and vertically.

Ergonomics as the Main Asset

Xiaomi opted for a fully adjustable stand, which allows for height adjustment, tilt from -5° to 15°, and swivel. Such flexibility is rare for monitors under 2,000 CZK. A practical feature is the cable management hole in the stand’s base, which helps keep the desk tidy. The monitor also supports VESA 75 × 75 mm mounting for installation on an arm or wall.

The design benefits from a modern three-sided bezel-less design, which minimizes distracting elements around the image. The overall dimensions including the stand are 547 × 400 × 185 mm with a weight of 3.3 kilograms. From an ergonomic perspective, the certification by the German organization TÜV Rheinland for low blue light emission and support for DC dimming across the entire brightness range are also welcome.

Connectivity and Warranty

For connecting a computer, there is one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0 port. The absence of USB-C represents the only significant weakness – modern laptops would appreciate the ability to transmit video and charge with a single cable. On the other hand, this is a common compromise in this price category.

Xiaomi provides a three-year warranty for the monitor with the option to replace the entire device in case of a defect. Furthermore, a nationwide network of service centers operates in China, which simplifies the warranty claim process. The monitor also received certification from the China Quality Certification Centre for healthy vision, confirming minimal eye fatigue during prolonged use.

Availability Outside China Remains Unclear

The Redmi Monitor A24 2026 Multi-Function Stand Edition is currently sold only in China through Xiaomi’s official e-shop and the partner platform JD.com. Given that previous Redmi monitor models reached global markets with a delay of several months, we can expect a similar scenario this time. In case of a European launch, the price would likely reach 2,000–2,500 CZK.

Do you appreciate a 144Hz refresh rate on a work monitor, or do you prefer higher resolution?
