TP-Link officially launched the new outdoor security camera Tapo C560WS on the Czech market. The new product stands out primarily with its 4K resolution, Wi-Fi 6 support, and a range of advanced AI features for detecting people, animals, and vehicles. The camera offers color night vision, the ability to rotate up to 326°, and high resistance to weather conditions, making it an ideal solution for comprehensive home or business security. It is available on the domestic market with a recommended price of 2,299 CZK.

Superior Image Quality and Zoom

The main draw of the Tapo C560WS camera is undoubtedly its 8Mpx sensor, providing 4K resolution. It can capture even the finest details, such as license plates, faces, or small objects. Thanks to the 18x digital zoom, you can easily zoom in on a specific area to get a detailed shot. The camera also features a bright f/1.6 lens, which helps ensure high-quality recordings even in low-light conditions.

AI Detection and Intelligent Recognition

Among the most interesting features is the free AI system for local facial recognition. The camera can intelligently distinguish between strangers, family, and friends, with all facial data processed only locally, maximizing user privacy. Artificial intelligence also ensures the detection of people, pets, and vehicles and can send notifications only in relevant cases. All these advanced features are available completely free of charge, without the need for a subscription.

Color Night Vision and Wide Coverage

TP-Link equipped the camera with Starlight technology, which, combined with an f/1.6 aperture and two integrated spotlights, allows for capturing color footage even in low light. It also supports infrared black-and-white mode and intelligent switching to color mode upon person detection. Users will also appreciate the pan-and-tilt mechanism, which offers horizontal movement within a range of 326° and vertical movement within a range of 53°, ensuring almost complete coverage of the monitored area. An interesting feature is the panoramic patrol mode, allowing automatic scanning of the entire surroundings or specific points at pre-set times.

Modern Connectivity and Flexible Storage

The Tapo C560WS supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 in both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands for higher speed and data transmission stability. Alternatively, a wired Ethernet connection can also be used. As for recording storage, the camera offers several options. Recordings can be stored on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 512 GB (which is sufficient for approximately 388 hours of 4K video), in Tapo Care cloud storage, or on a Tapo H500 network recorder with a capacity of up to 16 TB. Additionally, the microSD card can be password-protected directly within the Tapo app.

High Durability and Favorable Price

The security camera boasts IP66 certification, guaranteeing its resistance to rain, dust, and extreme temperatures ranging from -30 °C to 60 °C. This makes it an ideal choice for outdoor installation on a wall, ceiling, or pole. The manufacturer also considered easy mounting and included a bracket and necessary screws in the package. It also supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, two-way communication, and custom sound and light alarms. The Tapo C560WS camera is available on the Czech market at a recommended price of 2,299 CZK.
