Xiaomi is expanding its power bank offering with a model primarily targeting iPhone owners or newer Google Pixel users. It combines wireless charging with magnetic attachment and a permanently attached cable, meaning you only need to take the power bank itself on your trip. It will hit store shelves under the designation Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W (Integrated Cable) 2027.

What will the Xiaomi magnetic power bank offer?

Inside are two 5,000 mAh cells, totaling the advertised 10,000 mAh (the manufacturer states a rated capacity of 5,900 mAh, or 37 Wh). This makes it suitable for air travel.

The main attraction is wireless charging. The charger attaches to the back of the phone with a 13 N magnet and delivers up to 25 W via the modern Qi2.2 standard. The manufacturer states that an iPhone 17 Pro Max can be charged to 34 percent in half an hour this way; via the integrated USB-C cable, which handles up to 45 W, it can reach 45 percent.

In addition to the built-in cable, the device also has another USB-C port, so it can theoretically serve up to three devices at once (though in practice, few will likely use this due to the power bank’s lower capacity).

Xiaomi has been experimenting with magnetic power banks for a long time – we already wrote this spring about a thinner variant with a capacity of 10,000 mAh intended for the Chinese market.

The manufacturer also doesn’t underestimate safety: it mentions 16 protective functions and tests for nail puncture, compression with a force of 14 kN, or an hour in an oven at 135 °C. Furthermore, via a computer and the website powerbank.mieco.net, it will be possible to monitor the status and charging history of each cell.

Price and Availability

Xiaomi has not announced the price or sales date for the Czech Republic, and the new product is also missing from the global e-shop. India could be a guide, where a corresponding model sells for 3,699 rupees, which is roughly 900 Czech crowns – but expect a slightly higher amount here. It is expected to arrive on the market in two colors – black and white – with a matte finish and a soft silicone magnetic panel.
