Unlike the standard titanium models, the ceramic versions come in much more vibrant colors and reportedly offer higher scratch resistance. The new designs are available on the manufacturer’s official e-shop for 549 euros (13,300 CZK in conversion), while Alza offers them for pre-order at 14,390 CZK. Ceramics bring vibrant colors and higher durability The new Oura Ring 4 ceramic rings are available in four attractive colors – Midnight (dark blue), Petal (pink), Tide (mint green), and Cloud (white). Unlike metal models, where colors are created by surface treatment, ceramic rings are colored directly in the material, so their color will not fade over time. According to the manufacturer, this was an issue with some earlier models, such as the rose gold variant of the previous generation. The company used zirconia ceramic, which stands out for its high hardness and scratch resistance. Oura even states that the material is so hard that it can cause abrasion to some metals it comes into contact with. For maximum comfort and performance, the inner part of the ring remains titanium. OBJEDNAT KERAMICKOU VERZI With a thickness of 3.51 mm, the ceramic models are slightly larger than the standard titanium versions at 2.88 mm. The weight has also increased – from 5.1 to 8.1 g compared to 3.3 to 5.2 g for titanium models. The rings are available in all sizes from 4 to 15. Charging case for longer endurance on the go Along with the new ceramic variants, Oura also introduced the long-awaited charging case for 99 dollars (approximately 2,000 CZK). The case can store enough energy for up to five full charges of the ring, which theoretically means several weeks of use without access to the electrical grid. The ring itself can be charged from zero to one hundred percent in the case in about 90 minutes, and charging the case itself takes the same amount of time. The charging case is made of aluminum and features a charging indicator. A USB-C connector is used for power. The case is specific to a particular ring size, so the user must choose the variant corresponding to their Oura Ring size. How do you like the new ceramic versions of the Oura smart ring?
