Let’s recall everything this performance-oriented monster offers and why you should consider buying it right now.

Extreme performance for demanding users

At the heart of the POCO F7 Ultra is last year’s flagship chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (predecessor to the newly introduced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5), which, combined with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.1 storage, ensures absolutely unparalleled performance. The phone effortlessly handles even the most demanding games at the highest graphics settings. As I detailed in my review, it is simply a true beast for gamers, maintaining stable performance even during extended gaming sessions.

Inside the phone, we also find a special VisionBoost D7 chipset, which is responsible for image enhancement. Thanks to it, you can enjoy games in super 2K resolution or watch videos with improved fluidity and colors.

Premium display that will impress

The POCO F7 Ultra features a 6.67″ Flow AMOLED display with WQHD+ resolution (3200 × 1440 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display boasts a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits, ensuring perfect readability even in direct sunlight. In the review, we particularly praised the excellent automatic brightness, which cleverly adapts to ambient light, and the overall very good color reproduction.

Also worth mentioning is the ultrasonic fingerprint reader integrated into the display, which works absolutely phenomenally. Unlocking is extremely fast and convenient, perhaps even better than some more expensive models like the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Successful design and premium construction

The POCO F7 Ultra boasts a metal frame and premium craftsmanship. The phone has flat side edges and pleasantly rounded corners, making it comfortable to hold. The matte glass back is divided into two segments, with the glossy part featuring the characteristic circular camera module with a bronze rim.

The construction offers IP68 standard durability, meaning the phone can survive immersion in water up to a depth of 2.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Surprisingly capable camera setup

Although the POCO F7 Ultra is primarily performance-oriented, its camera setup is definitely worth mentioning. The phone features a trio of rear cameras: a main 50Mpx Light Fusion 800 sensor with optical stabilization, a 50Mpx telephoto lens (also with OIS), and a 32Mpx ultrawide-angle lens.

I consider the 50Mpx telephoto lens to be an interesting ace up its sleeve, offering 2.5x optical zoom and more accurate color reproduction. The phone can also handle macro shots at a distance of just 10 cm and supports video recording up to 8K resolution at 24 FPS. Such a sensor would be rather unexpected in POCO devices, which generally tend to downplay cameras.

An area where the POCO F7 Ultra truly excels is charging speed. The phone supports wired charging at up to 120 W, allowing it to charge from 0 to 100% in just 34 minutes. It also features 50W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging capabilities.

The 5,300 mAh battery offers solid endurance, although it’s a rather average result when compared to some competitors (e.g., OnePlus 13 with 6,000 mAh). With normal use, however, the phone will last a day to a day and a half; during demanding gaming, you can expect several hours of intense operation.

Modern software full of artificial intelligence

The POCO F7 Ultra comes with pre-installed HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The system offers excellent optimization, fluid animations, and many features utilizing artificial intelligence.

Notable AI features include Google’s Circle to Search, the integrated Gemini assistant, AI writing, real-time conversation translation, and AI subtitles for videos. The manufacturer promises 4 major Android updates and 6 years of security patches.

Irresistible price/performance ratio

The POCO F7 Ultra in the 12/256 GB configuration is now selling for just 13,713 CZK, making it one of the best price/performance phones on the market. For this price, you get a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a top-tier AMOLED display, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and extremely fast charging. It’s no wonder the phone received an 89% rating in the editorial review. I found the battery life to be weaker, the less detailed ultrawide-angle camera was a bit disappointing, and the lack of eSIM support surprised me.

Overall, it can be said that the POCO F7 Ultra is a perfect choice especially for demanding gamers looking for top-tier performance at a reasonable price. The phone will also be appreciated by tech enthusiasts who want to try out the latest artificial intelligence features.
