The POCO F9 series will be globally unveiled on Tuesday, September 1st at 2:00 PM, bringing new products to the Czech Republic as well. Before that happens, Xiaomi is enticing interested parties to register for the live broadcast – the reward includes points for the e-shop and a draw for an electric scooter. We remind you what the duo of phones is expected to offer according to current leaks.

Start of the school year with two new POCO products

The official premiere will take place on Tuesday, September 1st at 2:00 PM our time, in the form of an online broadcast that the brand will launch on its website. Sales will then start just a few minutes later, precisely at 2:45 PM. Under the banner of the new series, two models will be revealed, just like last year – the more basic POCO F9 Pro and the more equipped POCO F9 Ultra.

Buyers are also expected to receive several additional bonuses. Xiaomi is enticing with three months of YouTube Premium, four months of Spotify Premium, and three months of Google AI Pro for free, plus one free display replacement during the first six months. However, all these benefits apply only to new users of the respective services and are subject to the terms and conditions of the promotion.

The main draw is for those who want to keep an eye on the premiere. If you subscribe to broadcast notifications, the company will credit you with 300 Mi Points in its e-shop and also enter you into a draw. What will POCO F9 Pro and Ultra offer?

And now for the main part – the specifications. The manufacturer is still guarding the official parameters, but the series has undergone an extensive leak, about which we wrote in detail. According to it, both phones are expected to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, complemented by displays with a refresh rate of up to 185 Hz and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. A 200Mpx main camera, 100W charging, and IP69 resistance are also expected.

The cheaper POCO F9 Pro is expected, according to the leak, to feature a 6.59″ display, a 6330 mAh battery, and a 50Mpx telephoto lens alongside the main sensor. The POCO F9 Ultra will then grow to 6.9″, offer a larger 8050 mAh battery, a 50Mpx periscope with five-times zoom, and as a bonus, a speaker tuned by Bose. Prices are reportedly set to be around CZK 19,700 and CZK 24,700 respectively (799 and 999 euros).
