The POCO F9 series is starting to emerge from the depths. The upcoming models POCO F9 Pro and F9 Ultra have appeared in several international certification databases – and stamps from authorities usually mean that the official unveiling is only a few weeks away.

What did the certifications reveal?

The new phones have surfaced in several places at once. The GSMA IMEI database lists both devices under model numbers – POCO F9 Pro as 2607APCA5G and POCO F9 Ultra as 26077PC53G. The registration itself is silent on the specifications but confirms that the development of both models is nearing completion.

In addition to IMEI, the duo also passed through the Singaporean IMDA authority and the SDPPI and TKDN databases in Indonesia, specifically on July 23. Passing through several national regulators at once is usually a clear sign that the manufacturer is preparing to distribute the phones to individual markets.

They will likely come to the Czech Republic as well

The documents also indicate where the new series will head. Besides Indonesia, Turkey, Taiwan, Russia, and Japan, the list also includes the European Economic Area, meaning the phones are very likely to appear on the Czech market as well. On the other hand, India, otherwise crucial for the brand, will apparently miss out this time.

According to current speculation, both models are expected to be based on the upcoming Redmi K100 series (the Ultra from the Pro Max variant) and rely on one of the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chips.
