POCO is reportedly preparing another powerful mobile. It will get a new processor with super performance and possibly a gigantic battery

The POCO brand is apparently not preparing the basic X8 model, as we informed you in December. Instead, a more interesting variant is emerging. The model POCO X8 Pro Max with the designation 2602BPC18I has now appeared in the certification database of the Indian BIS authority, which should be a re-branded version of the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 Max for the Chinese market.

Near-flagship performance and a giant battery

POCO X8 Pro Max is expected to be the brand’s first phone with the recently introduced MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. It uses a 3nm process from TSMC and relies only on large cores. The Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which will arrive on the market with this processor, reportedly scored 3.61 million points in internal AnTuTu tests.

The main draw, however, will be the 9,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging, if current speculations prove true. The display should have a diagonal of around 6.83 inches with 1.5K resolution and LTPS OLED technology. Other specifications are not yet known.

POCO X8 Pro Max reportedly won’t keep us waiting long

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max is expected to be unveiled in China soon – pre-orders are starting there now. According to current information, the global version, the POCO X8 Pro Max, could arrive approximately one month after the Chinese launch, i.e., sometime in February.

Let’s recall that POCO recently launched the M8 series for the mid-range in the Czech Republic. The X8 Pro Max model will target even higher and offer near-flagship performance at a very favorable price.
