While it is speculated to be a re-engineered version of the recently launched Redmi 15 5G, the new device will primarily impress with its distinct gaming-oriented design and several improvements. The price in India is expected to be below 15,000 rupees, which is approximately CZK 3,600 in conversion. Gaming Display with Record Refresh Rate The POCO M7 Plus will feature a massive 6.9-inch LCD display, making it one of the largest in its class. For gamers, the 144Hz refresh rate will be crucial, ensuring an exceptionally smooth image during action-packed games. The panel has received TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection, which includes low blue light emission, flicker-free technology, and circadian rhythm support. Such a high refresh rate is rarely seen in this price category. For comparison, most competitors offer a maximum of 120 Hz, so the POCO M7 Plus will have an advantage in this regard. Distinct Design Differentiating from Redmi While the technical specifications may be based on the Redmi 15 5G, the design of the POCO M7 Plus is entirely original. The back of the phone features a white grid pattern resembling ceramic tiles, complemented by blue, red, and orange color accents on the sides. The glossy frame is almost completely flat, with only a slight curvature on the edges of the back. The front then houses an 8Mpx selfie camera. Giant Battery with Reverse Charging Support Xiaomi has equipped the POCO M7 Plus with a massive 7,000mAh battery, one of the largest on the market. The phone also supports reverse charging, allowing it to serve as a power bank for other devices. Charging speed is expected to reach 33 W, which will enable a full charge from zero in approximately an hour and a half. With such a large battery and an energy-efficient processor, the phone should easily last two days of normal use or a full day of intensive gaming. Performance Powered by Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor is expected to power the device, offering sufficient performance for most games while maintaining reasonable power consumption. The chipset, manufactured with 6nm technology, includes eight cores with a maximum frequency of up to 2.3 GHz and Adreno 619 graphics. In India, the phone will be sold in memory configurations starting with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, with higher variants not yet confirmed. Availability Only for India So Far The POCO M7 Plus will be officially unveiled on August 13 in India with a price under 15,000 rupees (approximately CZK 4,000). Xiaomi has not yet confirmed whether the phone will reach other markets, including Europe. Given that previous POCO M series models have made their way to us, there is a chance that the M7 Plus will also arrive in the Czech Republic over time.
