POCO revealed the design of F8 Pro and Ultra models. Beasts with insane performance arrive next week

After brief speculations, full official confirmation arrives: POCO will indeed unveil its new F8 series flagship phones this month. The brand announced the date of the global premiere via social media for Wednesday, November 26, at 9:00 AM our time, although the conference itself will take place in Bali. Simultaneously, it revealed the final design of both models, including color variants.

Design adopted from Chinese Redmi phones

POCO released official renders of the F8 Pro and F8 Ultra models, confirming earlier leaks. The design indeed matches their Chinese counterparts, the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max. The phones will feature a rectangular camera module, flat side edges, and will also include the inscription “Sound by BOSE”, indicating that a renowned audio equipment manufacturer contributed to their audio system.

The POCO F8 Pro model will be available in three color variants – classic black, blue, and titanium gray. All versions will offer a matte finish on the back, resistant to fingerprints.

F8 Ultra will surprise with a denim version

The top-tier POCO F8 Ultra model will bring more interesting color options. In addition to standard black, it will also feature a special denim edition with a structured finish, which was one of the main attractions of the Chinese Redmi K90 Pro Max. This version will offer a unique texture resembling denim, giving the phone a premium look and likely a comfortable grip.

What we know about the new models’ specifications

The POCO F8 Pro, built on the foundations of the Redmi K90, will offer a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with performance exceeding 10,000 points in the Geekbench benchmark. The phone will feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 3,500 nits. Power will be provided by a 6,210 mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging.

The POCO F8 Ultra model will utilize an even more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with a clock speed of up to 4.6 GHz. The main attraction will be a 2.1 stereo system with three speakers tuned by Bose, with one speaker located directly on the back of the phone. The display will grow to 6.9 inches, and the battery will offer a capacity of 6,500 mAh with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Ultra model’s camera setup consists of a trio of 50Mpx sensors – the main Light Hunter 950, a telephoto lens with 5× optical zoom, and an ultrawide-angle lens. All main cameras feature optical image stabilization.

Pricing and Availability

POCO has not yet announced official prices, but we can expect similar pricing to the previous generation. The F7 Ultra model sold for just under 20,000 Czech crowns, while the base F7 Pro started at 14,499 CZK. Given the approaching Christmas season, interesting introductory offers can also be expected.

The global launch will take place on November 26 at 9:00 AM our time via an online stream. Information about availability on the Czech market will likely be revealed concurrently with this event.
