While the previous AAWireless TWO version worked exclusively with Android Auto, the new TWO+ model adds full Apple CarPlay support. Users can thus connect both an Android phone and an iPhone to the adapter and use the respective platforms in their vehicle. The manufacturer emphasizes that this is the company’s first adapter with official support for both systems without a beta designation.

The adapter functions as a plug & play device – simply plug it into the infotainment’s USB port, and the phone will automatically connect wirelessly. Initial pairing is required for the first use, after which the phone connects automatically upon starting the vehicle.

Multifunction button for easy control

A key feature that AAWireless TWO+ inherited from its predecessor is the physical multifunction button. This allows for several actions:

• Pairing a new phone
• Switching to the next paired phone with a single press
• Putting the adapter into standby mode

The adapter will also be available on Amazon later. Interestingly, the price remains the same as the previous AAWireless TWO model, which only supported Android Auto.
