The premium soundbar Sonos Arc Ultra is back at an all-time low of 19,990 CZK at Alza, representing a discount of 5,000 CZK compared to the regular price. This top-tier model is dropping below 20,000 CZK for the first time since its launch. As part of the Black Friday event, the retailer also offers free exchange of unsuitable gifts until the end of January.

Bass Revolution thanks to Sound Motion

Arc Ultra represents the most advanced soundbar in Sonos history. At the heart of this innovation is Sound Motion™ technology, which allows for double the bass performance compared to the previous Arc generation while maintaining compact dimensions. The soundbar features a total of 14 specially tuned drivers – seven silk-dome tweeters for crystal-clear highs, six mid-bass drivers, and one unique four-motor bass driver.

The device, measuring 117.8 × 11.06 cm, creates 9.1.4 spatial audio with Dolby Atmos. Two tweeters are directed upwards to create a height channel, ensuring a truly immersive sound experience. Power is provided by 15 Class D digital amplifiers, precisely tuned for the soundbar’s acoustic architecture.

AI improves dialogue clarity

One of the most interesting features of Arc Ultra is advanced speech quality enhancement using artificial intelligence. The system automatically recognizes human voices and highlights dialogues, with users able to choose from four adjustable levels according to their preferences. A night mode is also available, which reduces the intensity of loud sounds and increases the level of quieter passages.

The soundbar supports automatic Trueplay™ calibration, which now works not only on iOS but also on Android devices. Using microphones, the soundbar analyzes room acoustics and optimizes sound according to the specific space. Connection to the TV is provided by an HDMI eARC port, and the soundbar immediately recognizes and learns to be controlled by the TV remote.

Integration into the Sonos ecosystem

Arc Ultra is not just a soundbar – it also functions as a powerful spatial speaker for music streaming via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth 5.3. The device supports voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant and can be integrated with other Sonos speakers to create a multiroom system.

An interesting feature is the ability to switch audio from the TV to Sonos Ace headphones. Users can instantly switch to private listening with spatial audio and dynamic head tracking. The soundbar even supports connecting two pairs of headphones simultaneously for shared movie watching.
