Looking for an affordable wireless gaming mouse that can switch between a desktop, laptop, and tablet? The Marvo Niro 50 is now available on Alza with code ALZADNY25 for 374 CZK instead of the original 499 CZK. For that price, it offers a combination of features you wouldn’t expect from a cheap mouse — three connection modes and a decent optical sensor. However, according to reviews, it had to make a few compromises.

Quick Summary

Three Connection Modes are the Main Draw

The biggest asset of the Niro 50 is its triple connection method. For the lowest latency during gaming, you connect the USB-C cable; on the go or with a laptop, you use the wireless 2.4GHz receiver; and if you want to share the mouse with a tablet or a second computer, you switch to Bluetooth with a range of up to 10 meters. Quick switching between modes makes the mouse a practical companion suitable for both gaming and work environments — and that’s a pleasant surprise for a mouse costing under four hundred.

Technically, the mouse relies on an optical sensor, the PixArt PAW-3311, with adjustable resolution from 200 to 12,000 DPI, which you can switch using a button on the top. Customers praise the tracking as precise. Seven programmable buttons can be customized via the included software, the rechargeable battery is said to last a long time in Bluetooth mode, and the body weighs only 63 grams, so it won’t tire your hand even after extended gaming. According to reviews, the braided cable is nicely flexible and shielded.

Where the Low Price Made Compromises

Reviews also reveal weaker points. The most frequently mentioned is the scroll wheel — it feels cheap, is stiffer, and on some units, it makes strange squeaking noises, which even led one customer to return the mouse. The second annoying point is the software: buttons and macros can only be set via cable or the 2.4GHz adapter; the application doesn’t detect the mouse via Bluetooth. And according to users, the exact battery charge cannot be determined anywhere. A minor detail is the awkward storage of the 2.4GHz receiver on the underside of the mouse, which is quite stiff to remove.

However, for 374 CZK, these reservations should be considered in the context of the price. The Marvo Niro 50 is not a mouse for competitive gamers or for those who insist on a perfect scroll wheel and flawless software. But as a lightweight, universal mouse for multiple devices, for work and casual gaming, it offers unusually rich features for its price — and you won’t easily find three connection modes in this price range.

Would you use three connection modes, or is one reliable mode enough for you?
