Realme boasts that the GT 8 Pro surpassed the 4 million point mark in the AnTuTu benchmark. For comparison – current flagships hover around 3 million. An interesting feature is the phone’s ability to run two demanding games simultaneously – such as PUBG and Genshin Impact – and keep them running smoothly at a high frame rate for an hour. This is something no phone has managed yet. This is aided by its own Hyper Vision+ AI chip and realme GT BOOST 3.0 technology, which intelligently manages power consumption. While it won’t be useful in practice, as a performance demonstration? Why not. 200Mpx telephoto lens: marketing ploy or revolution? Realme has decided to go the route of high numbers. The GT 8 Pro will get a 200Mpx periscopic telephoto lens – the very first in the brand’s history. On paper, it sounds amazing, but the reality will depend on the quality of the sensor itself, which Realme has not yet revealed. High resolution does not automatically mean better photos. The key will be sensor size, optics quality, and especially software processing. Realme has a mixed history with cameras – sometimes they surprise, other times they disappoint. We’ll see where the GT 8 Pro stands. Display and battery: no compromises After the 1.5K resolution display on the GT 7 Pro, an upgrade to full-fledged 2K is coming. According to leaks, it will be a 6.78-inch LTPO 8T AMOLED panel – meaning the best the market currently offers. And speaking of the battery – 8000 mAh is a value you won’t find in the mainstream. With such capacity and an efficient 3nm chipset, the GT 8 Pro could easily last two days of intensive use. Android 16 and independent graphics Realme confirmed that the GT 8 Pro will receive Android 16 with the Realme UI 7 overlay. The phone will also get an independent graphics chip R1, which is designed to assist with demanding graphics tasks. Availability and price: the biggest unknown Realme confirmed that the GT 8 Pro will arrive in the Czech Republic at the end of 2025. This is good news, as the brand is not as active here as its competitors. The bad news is that the price is not yet known. The previous GT 7 Pro started at 22 990 Kč, which was a very competitive price. If Realme maintains a similar price point with the GT 8 Pro, it will be a very attractive offer. With such hardware, it would likely be the best price/performance ratio on the market. How excited are you for the Realme GT 8 Pro?
