Following the recent leak of information regarding the Redmi 15 5G smartphone, details about the cheaper variant, the Redmi 15 4G, are also emerging online. XpertPick published almost complete specifications and the estimated price of this upcoming smartphone, which is expected to impress primarily with its massive battery and large display. The device has already appeared on the Italian e-shop Epto, suggesting that the official European launch is just around the corner.

Huge Display and Powerful Battery

The Redmi 15 4G is expected to offer a truly large 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. Under the hood, we’ll find an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2 GHz, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage expandable via a microSD card.

The biggest draw of the new model will undoubtedly be the 7,000mAh battery, which should ensure above-average endurance. It also features support for 33W charging, which, while not among the fastest on the market, will be an acceptable value in its price category. The phone will also offer a side-mounted fingerprint reader and IP64 rating for basic resistance against dust and splashing water.

High-Resolution Camera

In terms of photography, the Redmi 15 4G should primarily impress with its 108Mpx main sensor, which represents a significant upgrade over the previous generation. However, we do not yet have information on the specifications of the accompanying lenses. The selfie camera should feature 13Mpx resolution, which is standard in this price category.

Regarding dimensions, the phone should be 171 mm tall, 82 mm wide, and 8.6 mm thick. At 224 grams, it is not among the lightest, but this is understandable given the battery and display size. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC for contactless payments.

Availability and Price in Europe

According to the leaked information, the Redmi 15 4G should be available in Europe for 184.90 euros, which translates to approximately 4,500 CZK. For this price, customers will get a single memory variant of 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, with three color options to choose from – Midnight Black, Sandy Purple, and Titan Gray.

The smartphone will run on the HyperOS system based on Android, and given the timing of its release, it will likely be HyperOS 2.0 combined with Android 15. The official launch should take place in the coming weeks, when we will also learn more detailed information about its availability on the Czech market.
