Redmi Note 15 Pro will again come in a trimmed-down, cheaper version! The launch is imminent

Xiaomi is preparing a new generation of its popular Note series, and it appears it will continue to offer variants with 4G connectivity only. As the latest certifications suggest, the upcoming models will include the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G, confirming that the manufacturer still sees potential in phones without 5G network support. The device recently appeared in the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) database, indicating that its market launch is approaching.

Which markets is the non-5G model intended for?

According to previous information leaks, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G is designated with the code number 25100RA69G and should be sold primarily in Turkey, Indonesia, and Russia. These are markets where either the 5G infrastructure is not sufficiently widespread, or where customers still prefer more affordable models without this technology. The EEC certification confirms that the device is indeed heading to at least the Russian market. However, its arrival on the Czech market cannot be ruled out, as the current Redmi Note 14 Pro (4G) is sold here.

In addition to the 25100RA69G model, other models with designations 2510DRA23E and 2510DRA23G have also appeared in the EEC database. Specific information about which variants of the Redmi Note 15 series these designations represent is not yet available. However, the numbers “2510” in the codename suggest that the phones could be launched in October 2025.

What do we know about the new generation’s specifications?

While the certification unfortunately does not reveal technical specifications, from a recent leak about the higher-end Redmi Note 15 Pro+ model, we know that it should come with a “1.5K” resolution display, symmetrical thin bezels around the display, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a battery with a capacity between 7,000 and 8,000 mAh. Performance should be provided by the yet-unannounced Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset.

For the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G model, we can expect similar specifications to the 5G variant, but likely with a different processor. Xiaomi typically uses either older generations of Snapdragon chipsets or alternative solutions from MediaTek for its 4G models.

When can we expect the official launch?

The Redmi Note 14 was introduced in China last September and arrived on the global market in January. According to information from reliable sources, the Redmi Note 15 series could follow a similar schedule. Initial information from leakers suggests that the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro+ models might appear first, followed by the basic models of the series.
