The Roborock QR 798 robotic vacuum cleaner has dropped below the 13,000 CZK mark for the first time. The cheapest stores currently offer it from 12,638 CZK, which represents a drop of more than 2,800 crowns from the original price of 15,499 CZK. For this amount, you get a robotic vacuum cleaner with an advanced docking station that handles automatic dust emptying and mop washing.

Docking station saves work for 7 weeks

The biggest advantage of the QR 798 model is its multifunctional docking station, which takes care of the robot almost by itself. Automatic dust extraction into a 2.7-liter bag means you don’t have to empty the vacuum cleaner for up to 7 weeks. The station also features a 4-liter clean water tank and a 3.5-liter dirty water tank for automatic mop washing.

The mop cleaning process works in three phases – slow pre-wash, medium-speed rinse, and fast wringing. The station dynamically adjusts the rotation speed and water flow according to the degree of contamination. After washing, automatic hot air drying follows, which prevents the formation of odors and mold.

8,000 Pa suction power handles even carpets

The Roborock QR 798 boasts a suction power of 8,000 Pa, which reliably removes dust from deep within carpets and gaps between tiles. The main brush uses a spiral design of rubber blades that move not straight, but in a spiral – this prevents hair from getting tangled. The same anti-tangle technology is used by the asymmetrical side brush in an arc shape.

The robot is equipped with two rotating mops that spin at up to 200 rotations per minute. When moving onto a carpet, the mops automatically lift to a height of 10 mm, preventing them from getting wet. The mopping intensity can be adjusted in 30 different levels according to the floor type.

LDS navigation and smart app

For navigation, the robot uses an LDS laser in combination with Reactive Tech technology for obstacle recognition. It can overcome thresholds up to 2 cm high and can work for up to 180 minutes on a single charge, which is sufficient for cleaning an area of 260 m² when vacuuming or 330 m² when mopping.

In the Roborock mobile app, you can edit room maps, set forbidden zones, or determine the cleaning order. The app allows you to create your own cleaning routines – for example, automatically vacuuming the dining room every day after lunch. The robot also supports voice assistant control like Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.
