Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Pro arrived in the Czech Republic. It boasts top-tier performance, an adaptive chassis, and a superbly equipped station

Roborock is among the best-selling robotic vacuum cleaner brands in the world, and its new Qrevo Edge 2 Pro model targets users who don’t want to compromise between vacuuming and mopping. The robot combines high suction power with a movable chassis, allowing it to reach under low furniture and simultaneously overcome high thresholds. In the Czech Republic, it was priced at 30,999 CZK, but you can get it cheaper as part of an introductory offer.

Suction Power for Carpets and Hard Floors

The Qrevo Edge 2 Pro boasts a suction power of 25,000 Pa, which is a significant increase compared to the previous generation’s 18,500 Pa. The robot can thus handle dust, fine dirt, and pet hair deeply embedded in carpet fibers. On hard floors, it automatically reduces suction intensity, saving energy.

Movement around the home is handled by the adaptive AdaptiLift chassis, which allows independent control of individual wheels. The robot can raise the entire chassis or just a part of it as needed, easily overcoming double thresholds with a total height of up to 4 cm. With a height of just 7.98 cm, it can also get under low furniture, and the retractable LDS sensor automatically retracts when the situation requires it.

Mopping Without Carpet Worries

The pair of rotating mops rotate at 200 revolutions per minute during mopping and apply a force of 12 N to the floor. This allows the robot to remove even dried stains along walls and in corners. When approaching a carpet, the system automatically detaches the mops and leaves them in the docking station, eliminating the need to create no-go zones or manually turn off mopping.

For households with pets or long-haired family members, the anti-tangle hair system is essential. The DuoDivide main brush and FlexiArm Arc side arm capture hairs up to 40 cm long without tangling and requiring manual cleaning.

Docking Station with Hygienic Washing

The package includes the Hygiene+ 3.0 docking station, which handles virtually all maintenance. After each cleaning, it washes the mops with hot water at up to 100 °C, effectively removing dirt and bacteria. It then dries them with warm air at 55 °C to prevent odors and mold.

The station also automatically dispenses cleaning solution, empties dust from the robot’s bin into a larger bag, and cleans its own base with hot water. This means the user doesn’t have to intervene in maintenance for weeks.

Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance

The Reactive AI system combines an RGB camera and structured light for safe movement around the home. The robot recognizes over 200 common objects, including cables, toys, or items left by pets. It works reliably even in poor lighting conditions, so there’s no need to prepare the apartment before cleaning.

VertiBeam side sensors analyze the space along walls and furniture, allowing for more precise edge cleaning and minimizing the risk of collisions. The 6,400 mAh battery ensures cleaning of even larger households on a single charge.

Who is the Qrevo Edge 2 Pro suitable for?

The Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Pro will be particularly appreciated by owners of homes with a combination of carpets and hard floors, where other robots fail on transitions or wet carpets. It is also suitable for households with pets thanks to its anti-tangle hair system. However, with a price starting from 27,449 CZK (as part of an introductory offer until March 12), it is not exactly a cheap affair and is therefore only worthwhile for those who truly feel they need help with cleaning.
