The Roborock brand, which most customers know primarily for robotic vacuum cleaners, is expanding its operations into the garden care segment. It is entering the domestic market with four series of robotic lawnmowers, for which ASP Group s.r.o. is the exclusive distributor for the Czech and Slovak Republics. The individual models differ in features and, naturally, price, but they all share the common trait of not requiring users to lay perimeter wires and relying purely on smarter navigation systems. The price of the cheapest unit is 19,999 CZK.

No Wires, Mowers Are Smarter

A common denominator of all new Roborock lawnmowers is the absence of perimeter wires, which in older generations of robotic lawnmowers required laborious installation around the perimeter of the property. Instead, the manufacturer relies on a combination of satellite RTK navigation and visual mapping, optionally supplemented by 3D LiDAR. The lawnmower maps the property itself, creates a virtual map in the application where mowing zones or forbidden areas can be defined, and then operates fully autonomously.

Control is carried out via the Roborock app, available in Czech, which allows for mowing planning, progress monitoring, and setting a mode gentle to nocturnal fauna (e.g., hedgehogs). All models feature IPX6 resistance, a rain sensor that automatically sends the mower to the charging station in case of rain, and the PreciEdge function, which allows them to mow up to 3 centimeters from the edge – thus minimizing manual trimming along walls and curbs.

RockNeo Q1: Entry-Level Series for Smaller Gardens starting at 19,999 CZK

The RockNeo Q1 series represents the most accessible entry into the world of Roborock robotic lawnmowers. It targets owners of small to medium-sized properties who want a simple solution without compromising on basic features. The mower can cut up to 1,000 m² per day, passes through openings as narrow as 70 cm, and can overcome obstacles up to 4 cm high if necessary. For navigation, it uses the Sentisphere AI system, combining RTK navigation with stereo vision.

A floating cutting deck, large-diameter wheels, and the ability to handle slopes with an incline of up to 45% make the RockNeo Q1 a versatile solution for gardens with moderately uneven terrain. The entry-level model RockNeo Q105 starts at a price of 19,999 CZK, while the Q110 variant with higher capacity costs 26,999 CZK.

RockMow S1: For Medium-Sized Properties starting at 32,999 CZK

The RockMow S1 series is a step up, targeting owners of gardens up to 1,500 m². Compared to the cheaper Q1, it adds the ability to create decorative patterns in the lawn – users can choose from predefined motifs in the app or create their own. The mower also handles reaching open edges of the area better, so no unmowed strips should remain. Like the Q1, it can navigate 70cm passages, obstacles up to 4 cm, and slopes up to 45%.

The RockMow S1 relies on the same Sentisphere AI navigation system as the cheaper series, but thanks to a more powerful cutting mechanism and faster charging, it can handle a significantly larger area per day. The entry-level model RockMow S108 starts at 32,999 CZK, while the more powerful S115 costs 39,999 CZK.

RockMow Z1: All-Wheel Drive and Slopes up to 80% starting at 49,999 CZK

With the RockMow Z1 series, we enter the realm of truly large gardens. The mower can cut up to 5,000 m² per day, making it one of the most powerful autonomous machines on the market. Its main advantage is all-wheel drive (AWD) combined with the patented Active Steering system, which allows precise turning of the front wheels. Thanks to this, the Z1 can handle slopes with an incline of up to 80% (38.7°) and obstacles up to 8 cm high.

Six cutting blades, height-adjustable mowing in the range of 20 to 70 mm, and a dynamic suspension system with dual independent springs ensure a consistent cut even on challenging terrain. Also available is theft protection in the form of a loud alarm, PIN code, and tracking via 4G connectivity. The entry-level model RockMow Z115 costs 49,999 CZK, while the more powerful Z130 and Z150 variants are available for 74,999 CZK and 87,999 CZK, respectively.

RockMow Z1 LiDAR: Top of the Range with 3D Scanning starting at 67,999 CZK

The pinnacle of the portfolio is the RockMow Z1 LiDAR series, which adds a 3D LiDAR sensor with a 360° scanning range to all the features of the standard Z1. It captures up to 200,000 points per second and can detect objects at a distance of up to 70 meters. The result is centimeter-level navigation precision even in gardens with dense trees, complex geometry, or areas with weak satellite signals.

The Sentisphere LiDAR system combines 3D LiDAR with VSLAM (visual simultaneous localization and mapping), which should eliminate positioning outages in shadows. The mower can cover up to 2,000 m² per day, while retaining the ability to tackle slopes up to 80% and obstacles up to 8 cm. The only currently available model, RockMow Z120 LiDAR, is offered for 67,999 CZK.

Overview of All Models and Prices

Roborock is entering the Czech Republic directly with eight specific models divided into four series. This means owners of small gardens next to terraced houses, as well as extensive properties covering several thousand square meters, should be able to choose.
