The well-known robotic vacuum cleaner manufacturer Roborock unveiled its first line of robotic lawnmowers at IFA 2025 earlier this month. The flagship model RockMow Z1 can handle slopes up to 38.7° and obstacles 6 cm high. The company’s Czech representation presented the new products on Instagram, suggesting a planned launch in our market.

All-Wheel Drive for Challenging Terrains

The RockMow Z1 represents the pinnacle of Roborock’s new line of robotic lawnmowers. The device features independent motors in each wheel, allowing it to handle slopes with an incline of up to 38.7 degrees (80%). The lawnmower can also cope with obstacles up to 6 centimeters high, making it suitable for complex and demanding gardens.

Furthermore, the front wheels include separate steering motors, ensuring smooth turning without damaging the lawn. While conventional lawnmowers often damage the grass by skidding when turning, the RockMow Z1, thanks to active steering, turns without wheel slippage.

Stability Thanks to Suspension and Torsion Frame

To maintain stability on uneven terrain, the lawnmower utilizes a dynamic suspension system with a pair of independent springs. In combination with a full-length torsion frame, it can maintain a constant cutting height even when traversing bumps and uneven surfaces.

The Sentisphere AI Environmental Perception system combines RTK satellite navigation with VSLAM visual technology. This allows the lawnmower to maintain precise orientation even in the shade of trees or when passing through narrow passages between obstacles.

Mowing Up to 3 cm from Walls

The RockMow Z1 uses six durable blades powered by a powerful motor, which can handle even tall and dense grass. A special PreciEdge blade (sold separately) can mow up to 3 centimeters from walls and fences, significantly reducing the need for manual edge trimming.

The lawnmower can cover an area of up to 5000 square meters within 24 hours, including charging time. Through the mobile application, it’s even possible to program the creation of patterns or text directly into the lawn using different cutting heights.

Arrival in the Czech Republic Expected

Roborock’s Czech representation presented the new lawnmowers on its Instagram account, indicating a planned launch in the Czech market. The company has not yet announced prices or availability dates for European markets. Given the premium features of the Z1 model, a price in the higher tens of thousands of Czech crowns can be expected.
