Samsung Brief Now starts displaying sports information, also helps with betting

Samsung introduced a practical assistant, Brief Now, with the latest One UI 7. It’s not just a health overview; it also offers a display of upcoming events, generated by Samsung’s artificial intelligence. The upcoming update will particularly please sports fans.

The list now also includes sports results and other information. One of these is the probability of winning. In addition to quickly checking the status of an important match, this information can, with a bit of exaggeration, also be used for betting. Some betting companies allow betting on the outcome even during the match. Information about the probability of winning is displayed only for certain sports.

No Need to Wait for One UI 8

It seems that the update is also available for One UI 7, so there’s no need to wait for the release of the new One UI 8. There’s also no complicated installation required, as in the case of the new weather widget. Just wait for the update to be offered.

Practical Usability is Questionable

Of course, we don’t want to encourage gambling. Betting companies have their own systems that ensure they don’t simply lose money. On the other hand, up-to-date information about the match status is certainly interesting for those who follow sports but cannot dedicate 100% of their attention to the match.

Unfortunately, it’s not clear when the update will be available in our region and how extensively sports events in the Czech Republic will be covered.
