Samsung Galaxy A57 will soon get One UI 9. But it will only be a beta, which you won't be able to access in the Czech Republic

  • According to an informant, the Samsung Galaxy A57 from this April is on its way to the One UI 9 overlay
  • The public beta will arrive first – the testing section has reportedly already appeared on Samsung's community forum
  • However, the beta program is not officially running in the Czech Republic, so domestic owners will have to wait for the final release

The Galaxy A series long belonged to those that waited longer for major updates. For the Galaxy A57 model, things look significantly better now – the transition to One UI 9 is apparently a matter of days. For now, however, only in the form of a public beta, and that has one unpleasant catch for Czech users.

How close is the public beta?

The fact that the Galaxy A57 is preparing for a jump to One UI 9 is not entirely new – Samsung started internally testing the overlay back in June. Now, however, a more specific signal has appeared. According to an informant from the X network, the manufacturer has created a section for the beta program specifically for this model on its community forum, which is usually one of the last steps before launching the first public beta. In practice, this could be a matter of days, as noted by GSMArena.

Of course, there’s no 100% guarantee that the beta will arrive, say, the day after tomorrow. The start of testing may still be postponed, and no specific date has been confirmed yet. One UI 9 itself only debuted last month with the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 foldables, and since then, it has also made its way in beta to the Galaxy S26 series.

Why will Czech owners have to wait?

And here comes the less pleasant part. Samsung opens its One UI Beta Program only in selected countries – traditionally, for example, in the USA, Germany, Britain, South Korea, or India – and the Czech Republic is generally not among them. Therefore, it is not officially possible to sign up for testing from within the country.

For domestic Galaxy A57 owners, this means only one thing: they will most likely enjoy the new overlay only in the stable version, which usually arrives several weeks after the beta ends. The manufacturer has not yet specified an exact date for the Czech market, so all that remains is to wait for One UI 9 to be refined and rolled out broadly.

Would you try the One UI 9 beta on your Galaxy A57 if it were available in the Czech Republic?
