Samsung is testing One UI 8 on these devices! Which phones will get it?

One UI 8, based on Android 16, was first introduced in early July along with the new generation of foldable phones – Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 SE. Samsung is now working on a stable version of the update for older Galaxy phones and tablets. Although the manufacturer has not yet announced a precise release schedule, the update should first arrive on devices currently in the testing phase.

Samsung is currently internally testing One UI 8 for a wide range of its devices. The list includes not only flagship models but also mid-range representatives, tablets, and even some models from the M and F series. Here is a complete overview of the devices undergoing testing:

It is interesting to note that while testing is underway on all these devices, the public beta version of One UI 8 is currently only available to owners of the Galaxy S25 series. For other devices, testing is only internal, and regular users do not have access to it.

Samsung has not yet announced the exact date when it will begin distributing the stable version. It has only confirmed that the update will start rolling out “during this summer”. This means that the stable version should be available soon, likely by the end of August.
