Sencor SWS 10500 WIFI weather station discounted by 800 CZK. It hasn't been cheaper on Alza since May Home News The Sencor SWS 10500 WIFI smart weather station measures wind, precipitation, UV, and temperature with its 7-in-1 outdoor sensor With code ALZADNY25, it costs 2,399 CZK instead of the pre-promotion price of 3,199 CZK (discount of 800 CZK) It hasn't been cheaper on Alza since this May Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 10. 10. 2026 06:30 Advertisement The forecast on your phone will tell you what weather to expect in the city. But it doesn’t know how much rain has fallen directly in your garden or how strong the wind is blowing at your cottage. Only your own weather station can find this out, and a well-rated one is currently on sale. The Sencor SWS 10500 WIFI now costs 2,399 CZK with code ALZADNY25 instead of 3,199 CZK; you haven’t bought it cheaper on Alza since May. CHCI METEOSTANICI SENCOR Quick summary:✅ Makes sense if you want your own weather data from your garden or cottage and want to monitor it on your mobile via Weathercloud or Weather Underground.⚠️ Consider that the initial Wi-Fi connection can be tricky, Sencor doesn’t have its own app, and the display needs a power outlet.💡 For 2,399 CZK, you get a 7-in-1 sensor with Swiss sensors and a weather station that all 18 reviewing customers rated with four or five stars. The weather station on Alza hasn’t been cheaper since May Before the promotion, the SWS 10500 WIFI was sold on Alza for 3,199 CZK. The code ALZADNY25 brings it down to 2,399 CZK, so you save 800 CZK, or 25%. It dropped to the same amount in May, when we also reported on the promotion, and it hasn’t been cheaper since. However, this is not a historical low. In January, it could be bought on Alza for 1,979 CZK, so if you’re not in a hurry for a weather station, you might try to wait. For comparison: it entered the market in summer 2025 for 3,499 CZK. One outdoor sensor measures seven parameters The essential things happen outdoors. The 7-in-1 wireless sensor measures temperature, humidity, pressure, precipitation, wind speed and direction, light intensity, and UV index, according to the manufacturer, using Swiss Sensirion sensors. It can handle outdoor temperatures from -40 to 60 °C and humidity in the range of 1–99%. Sencor states a signal range of up to 150 m, so you can place the sensor, for example, at the edge of the garden or on the roof. It is powered by three AA batteries. Inside the apartment, there is the main unit with a 5.7-inch True Black LCD display, where you can see everything at once: indoor and outdoor temperature, perceived temperature, dew point, wind gusts, total precipitation, or moon phase. The 12 or 24-hour forecast is calculated from changes in pressure and temperature, so take it as indicative, not as a replacement for a meteorological model. You can set alerts for extreme temperature, humidity, precipitation, and wind, and up to three additional sensors can be connected to the unit, for example, in a greenhouse or cellar. OBJEDNAT NA ALZE Data on mobile, but via third-party apps The weather station connects to home Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz band only) and automatically sends measured values to Weather Underground and Weathercloud platforms. From their Android and iOS apps, you can then check the weather at your home from anywhere, for example, on vacation. Sencor does not offer its own app; settings are handled via the WSLink app. Some owners have also connected the station to Počasí Meteo, but according to one of them, the authors there may not accept the station if there is another one nearby, or they may require an annual fee. Also, keep in mind that the display runs only on mains power. The CR2032 button battery in the main unit serves only as a backup during a power outage, so you will need to place the station near a power outlet. The display brightness is adjusted manually; according to owners, it does not have automatic regulation based on ambient light. Owners praise accuracy, complain about initial setup On Alza, the SWS 10500 WIFI has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 18 customers, with 15 giving full marks and no one less than four stars. 100% of reviewers recommend it, over 500 units have been sold, and the return rate of 0.82% is low. Reviews repeatedly praise the accurate measurements, which is aided by the ability to calibrate the sensors (especially pressure). People also commend the display readable in direct sunlight and the sensor’s range: one owner maintains a full signal at 80 meters line-of-sight and through three walls. The most common complaint concerns the initial setup. Several people describe connecting to Wi-Fi and cloud services as lengthy; for one of them, it took several hours and was finally successful only from a tablet, not an Android phone. Others criticize the confusing manual, and a review from Slovakia adds that changes in the WSLink app were reliably saved only in access point mode. However, once the station is set up, owners say it runs stably. Among minor issues, it appears that the station does not have data memory during an internet outage, and whatever is not sent is lost. According to one customer, the rain gauge does not record very fine rain (minimum is 0.4 mm), and the display hung on the wall is held at one point, so it can sway. KOUPIT METEOSTANICI V AKCI Who won’t be happy with the SWS 10500? If you have Home Assistant at home and want to send data to your own server, you might encounter integration issues. One owner couldn’t set their server’s port in the firmware, another bypassed it via a proxy, but it required some DIY effort. Similarly, you won’t find a polished manufacturer’s app here that would only require a few taps. And for those who would benefit from a larger display or more sensors, you can look at the higher model Sencor SWS 12500, which we wrote about in July. That one has an 8.4-inch color display, can handle up to seven sensors, but even on sale, it cost almost four thousand. I would forgive the slow setup for this price The Sencor SWS 10500 WIFI is not a toy for one afternoon, but a station that will accurately show you what is actually happening outside. Whoever wants to know how much rain has fallen into the flowerbeds or how strong the wind has swept through the cottage, and doesn’t mind going through the setup once, will get a 7-in-1 sensor and data available from anywhere for 2,399 CZK with code ALZADNY25. On the other hand, whoever expects a box that automatically pairs with a mobile app after plugging it in should look elsewhere. I wouldn’t hesitate for 2,399 CZK; I would just set aside a free evening for the initial setup.
