The smart monitor Samsung Smart Monitor M50D has reached a price of 4,990 CZK for the 32″ variant on Alza. The original price was 6,490 CZK, so the current discount represents a saving of 1,500 crowns. The monitor combines the functions of a classic PC display with smart TV capabilities thanks to the integrated Tizen OS operating system.

Smart monitor for the price of a regular one

The Samsung Smart Monitor M50D features a 32″ VA panel with Full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The refresh rate is a standard 60 Hz with a response time of 4 ms. The monitor offers a contrast ratio of 3000:1, which ensures good black color reproduction, and a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m². The matte finish of the display eliminates light reflections.

A key feature is the integrated Tizen OS with support for streaming applications. The monitor includes pre-installed Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and MAGENTA TV. For internet connection, it uses Wi-Fi 802.11ac, so it does not require a wired network connection. Integrated speakers allow content viewing without external speakers.

Who is the Smart Monitor M50D suitable for

The monitor is particularly suitable for users working from home who appreciate the ability to quickly switch between work and entertainment. The VA panel with a contrast of 3000:1 is suitable for office work with documents thanks to good text display. Full HD resolution on a 32″ diagonal provides a rather lower pixel density of 69 PPI. However, for regular work, this will be sufficient.

The second target group is students and users of small apartments, where the monitor can replace a television. Thanks to smart functions, there is no need to connect a set-top box or a media player. VESA mounting 100×100 allows wall mounting to save space on the desk.
