Sonos Ray with code for 4,343 CZK: compact soundbar with optical and multiroom

You can buy Sonos Ray in white on Alza for 4,343 CZK with code ALZADNY25. The offer makes sense especially for a smaller TV stand: the soundbar measures 55.7 cm in width and, in addition to connecting the TV via optical, also handles network music playback. It doesn’t have to serve only for watching movies.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: TV with optical output, especially if you also use music from Spotify, Tidal, or Apple Music.
⚠️ Consider: Height in front of the screen. Ray is 7 cm, so measure the space below the bottom edge of the screen before purchasing.
💡 Alza states a regular price of 5,790 CZK and a 25% discount with the code.

Check the TV’s optical output before purchasing

For TV sound, Ray has one digital optical input. The corresponding output on the back of the TV is therefore the first thing worth checking. Dolby Digital format support is also included.

On the table, also account for a depth of 9.3 cm. When planning space, it’s not enough to compare the width of the soundbar with the TV; also measure the free area in front of its stand.

It plays music over the network, Android and iPhone can handle control

Ray supports control from Android and iOS and the multiroom function for music in multiple rooms. AirPlay is also available. Network features are a significant part of the offering for anyone who wants to use the soundbar even when the TV is off.

You don’t have to deal with connecting to the home network wirelessly. Besides Wi-Fi, Ray has a LAN connector, so if you already have a network cable routed to your TV stand, you can use that.

Do you use your soundbar only for TV, or do you also listen to music on it?
