Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max headphones discounted by a third. They've never been cheaper on Alza

You know the drill: a meeting is in its second hour, you’re taking notes, and you still miss half of it. That’s exactly what Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max, Anker’s top-tier headphones, are for. They arrived in the Czech Republic in May for 6,490 Kč. Now they can be bought a third cheaper. With code ALZADNY35, you can get them for 4,219 Kč instead of 6,490 Kč. Alza has never sold them cheaper.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for people who make a lot of phone calls, attend meetings, or commute on noisy public transport.
⚠️ Consider that voice commands don’t work in Czech and the AI recorder is free only with a monthly limit.
💡 For 4,219 Kč you get top-tier Soundcore headphones 2,271 Kč cheaper than their usual price.

The price has never dropped this low

According to price history from HlídačShopů, Liberty 5 Pro Max costs 6,490 Kč on Alza outside of promotions. Since the end of May, when Alza added them to its offer, they have been on sale several times, but always only for a short period, and the price has never dropped this low. The current promotion runs from October 14.

Code ALZADNY35 is valid at the time of writing. How long it will last is not clear from the offer, and as history shows, the price always returned to the original 6,490 Kč after promotions. The stated price applies to the black version, to which our links lead. Alza also offers a gold variant.

Case with display also serves as a controller

The most prominent feature is the 1.78-inch AMOLED display directly on the charging case. Through it, you can switch noise cancellation modes or change settings without reaching for your phone. You can also set your own wallpaper, even a live one, on the display.

The second attraction is the AI recorder. The headphones record a meeting, lecture, or interview, and the Soundcore app prepares notes from it. The case can then notify you, for example, about the end of a meeting or an approaching deadline. However, consider this feature as a limited service: 120 minutes per month are free for 24 months; further use is charged. We discussed the new feature in more detail when it arrived in the Czech Republic.

Eight microphones for calls and stronger ANC

Sound processing is handled by the Thus chip with artificial intelligence. For calls, the headphones utilize eight microphones and a total of ten sensors, thanks to which, according to the manufacturer, the other party will hear you even in noise around 100 dB, for example, at a train station or on a busy street. Anker claims you can even make calls in a whisper.

Adaptive active noise cancellation is said by the manufacturer to be up to 100% more effective than with the previous Liberty 4 Pro. This is especially useful in the subway, bus, or an open-plan office. Android phone owners will appreciate the LDAC codec for higher quality wireless audio, and Dolby Atmos with head tracking is also included.

The headphones connect to up to three devices simultaneously, allowing you to switch between a laptop and a mobile phone without re-pairing. IP55 rating protects them from sweat and rain. Without ANC enabled, they last up to 12 hours according to the manufacturer, and up to 50 hours total with the case. Battery life is shorter with noise cancellation on.

Voice control does not work in Czech

Voice control with more than 20 commands only supports English, German, Japanese, and Chinese. Those who wanted to switch songs by voice in Czech will be disappointed. And if you’re not interested in the large display on the case or meeting recording, you’re paying for features you won’t use.

The basis of these headphones is revealed by their sibling, the Liberty 5 Pro, which we tested in detail. For calls, it uses the same units as the Max model, and the case has a smaller 0.96-inch display instead of an AMOLED panel. In our test, we were particularly impressed by the call quality and strong ANC.

For 4,219 Kč, they are especially worthwhile for people in meetings

If you spend your day in meetings, often make calls from the street, or need notes from lectures, the Liberty 5 Pro Max for 4,219 Kč with code ALZADNY35 makes a lot of sense. They will also be appreciated by people who switch between a work laptop and a mobile phone. Those who are just looking for good-sounding headphones with ANC for their commute can get by with simpler headphones without smart features. You can find the current price of Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max on Alza.

Would you use an AI recorder in headphones, or is it enough for them to just sound good?
