Do you need a camera for a cottage or property where there is no electricity or WiFi? The Eufy 4G LTE Camera S330 solves exactly this problem. The solar panel recharges the battery, and mobile data provides internet connectivity. Just insert a SIM card with a data plan, and you have functional surveillance anywhere.

Self-sufficient camera

The 9,400 mAh battery is recharged via the included 5W solar panel. Eufy claims that with two hours of sun per day, the camera will remain powered indefinitely. Without solar energy, expect a battery life of roughly one month with typical use – ten detections per day lasting ten seconds each, and five live views.

You can connect to the internet either via WiFi or by inserting a 4G LTE SIM card. The latter option is crucial for remote locations – cottages, garages on the outskirts of town, agricultural land. Simply mount the camera, insert the SIM, and you have a live stream on your mobile phone.

4K image and PTZ rotation

The 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution with 8x zoom allows for the recognition of details – faces, license plates, what a thief is holding in their hand. The motorized lens rotates 344° horizontally and tilts 70° vertically, covering virtually the entire property without blind spots.

Color night vision works up to a distance of 8 meters thanks to a 100-lumen spotlight. This, along with the siren, can also scare off an uninvited guest. In the app, you can set two detection zones so you don’t receive notifications every time a cat passes by.

Among the disadvantages, she mentions the app, which is not in Czech, and the absence of a desktop program – only a web interface is available. IP67 resistance should handle rain and temperatures from -20 to +50 °C, but long-term experience from Czech winters is still lacking.

Recording storage

Recordings are saved to a microSD card of up to 128 GB. If you want greater capacity or advanced features like recognizing up to 50 people, you can pair the camera with HomeBase 3, which expands storage up to 16 TB. However, this is sold separately for approximately 3,000 CZK.
