T-Mobile has discounted one of its tariffs and is adding summer data to it. What does it offer for 335 CZK?

T-Mobile has launched a summer promotion that turns a standard 5GB tariff into a quite interesting offer. In addition to the basic 5 GB of data, it adds another 20 GB as a summer bonus, plus a monthly discount of 150 crowns. The resulting price of 335 crowns for 25 GB of data looks appealing, but pay attention to the details.

The promotion is valid only for new activations, transfers from a prepaid card, or from another operator. Existing T-Mobile customers will not be able to get the discount. The offer is time-limited until August 31, 2025, giving three weeks to decide.

What do you get for 335 crowns?

The base is 5 GB of data at full speed, to which the operator adds another 20 GB of summer data. These can be activated in the mobile application in 10 GB increments. In total, that’s 25 GB, which is more than enough for a typical user for a month of browsing, social media, and occasional YouTube videos. In addition, you get 150 minutes of calls and 150 SMS, which feels a bit old-fashioned in the era of unlimited tariffs.

Also included is the Secure Mobile Internet service, which protects you from fraudulent websites and phishing attacks.

The tariff includes the “Always Online” service

An interesting feature is “Always Online” – after exhausting your data, you don’t go completely offline, but your internet speed slows down to 256 kb/s. T-Mobile claims this is enough for chatting, maps, or banking apps. The reality is a bit different.

WhatsApp works, but sending photos is a struggle. Maps load slowly, and forget about modern websites. It’s better than nothing, but it’s certainly not full-fledged internet.

Furthermore, you must manually activate the feature every month in the My T-Mobile app.
